Mountain biking often involves frequent falls that can result in serious injury or death. Riders should proceed cautiously and when in doubt, walk their bike. Never ride under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Do not expose loose clothing to moving parts of the bicycle. Be advised to use proper equipment in good working order and consider wearing protective gear and clothing. Jumping and rough riding can lead to malfunction of a mountain bike.
