 Shipments split by the carrier where succeeding parts are not
exported in the timeframes in §30.28

Various electronic equipment, products and associated
accessories including consumer electronics and

new packaging and have been given away or sold to be

A shipment booked for export that is divided by the
carrier in two or more shipments by the same
mode of transportation from the same port within
the timeframes listed below.

 Truck cargo
 Rail cargo

 Automated Commercial Environment (ACE)

 Requirement for the agent to provide date of
export and ITN in routed export transaction
What’s Next?
The 60 day comment period ended May 9th and
the Trade Regulations Branch (TRB) is:
 Reviewing all comments
 Discussing comments with appropriate federal agencies
 Obtaining concurrence from the Department of
Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of State
 Responding to all comments
 Ultimately TRB will issue and implement the Final Rule
