Ume, formerly Plum, created by Michelin-starred Chef Daniel
Patterson, is located in Oakland’s historic Uptown district on
Broadway at Grand Avenue. Ume offers an intimate, high-energy
space for seated lunches and dinners. The space features custom

for a variety of events. Ume serves creative dishes grounded in
Northern Californian ingredients, and inspired by the Japanese
pantry. The menu, created by Daniel Patterson of Coi and
Executive Chef, Dong Choi, features simple, clean, bright dishes
that feature the best of the season with a Japanese influence.

our front room for semi-private events. Coi provides an intimate and

semi-private dinner for up to 8 or reserve the entire restaurant for seated
dinner parties of up to 30 (40 including the chef’s counter). We can host
up to 50 people with standing room only. Our customizable menu is
Northen Californian and inspired by the Japanese pantry. We also offer
wine and beer pairings, and craft cocktails.

Plum Bar provides a casual alternative for special events and business
entertaining. Our semi-private lounge accommodates up to 20 people or
reserve the entire bar for up to 60. Leather banquettes, custom wood bar,
