into one of largest Bands (Music Trucks/Bands/Masquerades) in the Broward Miami
Festival by utilizing mainstream outlets such as, TV, radio, internet, various ethnic
newspapers, magazines, posters and flyers in Trinidad, Canada and the USA. We
also, generate audio, video and photographic content for a long-lasting experience
in the social media landscape.

their constituents. Miami Carnival Overview
Miami Carnival is a Caribbean cultural weeklong event which ends with a costumed
street parade and carnival extravaganza. The growth of attendance and
participation has been phenomenal, giving rise to a sub-culture devoted completely
to this magnificent festival. In past years, both Miami and Broward Caribbean
Carnivals have had a significant impact on tourism in South Florida. Each of the
Carnivals has attracted over 1,000,000 people to the area. This union of
masqueraders, band leaders, sponsors, and promoters promises to create an impact
on the economy of Miami Broward. With the support of various civic leaders and
municipalities, both Miami and Broward Caribbean Carnival committee members are
committed to embracing the spirit of a common ground as it relates to Carnival.
The Carnival Parade features dozens of masquerade bands of participants in
costume, with each band’s masqueraders wearing exotic and often extravagant
costumes. The parade also includes steel bands, large individual costumes, the Kings
and Queens of each band, and a variety of Caribbean music. On Carnival Sunday,
these “Mas Bands” parade, accompanied by Live Music, DJs, Bands and Steel Drums
on Large Music Trucks. The parade route culminates at Miami Dade County
Fairgrounds, where competitions are held for the title of “Band of the Year”, “King
and Queen of Carnival”, and other categories.
