PRODUCT TESTING: Police in Danville, Va., were summoned to a convenience
store on a report of a drunk man behind the wheel of a vehicle sitting in the
parking lot. "He was also drinking from an open container," said a police
spokesman. "The officer approached him and detected a strong odor of alcohol
as well as normal indications of being intoxicated." Steven Ray Tickle, 35, was
cited for public intoxication and, when he couldn't name anyone who could pick
him up, was arrested. Tickle is best known as a character on the Discovery

Have you ever wondered what those little triangles with a number inside that are that are stamped on the bottom of containers? They are a code telling which containers are recyclable. Take a look around your home, you will be surprized how
many you find.
What is a “#2” plastic? Many plastic bottles have a number encoded on the bottom. It will be within the triangle. Clear
containers, white containers, coloured containers will be recycled IF they have the #2 stamped on the bottom or
somewhere on the bottle. It looks like this:

If you have containers with this symbol, rinse them out, and put them into recycling where they can be made into
something else. Don’t throw them into the landfill.

THAT HAT DOESN'T FLY: Aaron Williams, 25, went
to the Dayton, N.J., MotorVehicle Commission to renew
his driver's license. When it came time to take his photo,
he refused to remove his head covering. MVC employees explained that it must be removed unless it's being
worn for religious reasons. Williams insisted that it was,
and wouldn't take it off. "I take it as seriously as anybody
else when it comes to religious beliefs," he said. When
he took out his camera and started taking a video of the
employees, they called the police. Officers told William
he had to apply to the state before he'd be allowed to
wear the headgear for his photo, and Williams removed
it. The head covering in question: a spaghetti strainer.
Williams says he's a Pastafarian -- a member of the
Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, which is a
movement opposing teaching "intelligent design" and
