Care and Cleaning
of your Wilton Armetale® Polished Metal Serveware
• Thoroughly wash your new piece with soft sponge or cloth and mild soap, then rinse with warm water and
towel dry.
• If you can, clean your piece while still warm. This allows cooked food to release easier from surface.
• Do NOT place in automatic dishwashers. Detergents, harsh chemicals and hard water may harm the
metal’s finish.
• As with any metal, it is not recommended that food be stored in your pieces for a sustained period of time,
especially foods containing fatty acids, salad dressing or vinegar.
• As with any cookware it is recommended to use your favorite cooking oil prior to grilling, however Olive
Oil and cooking sprays are not recommended as they burn easily at higher temperatures which can
damage or discolor the piece.
• Only use wood or silicone utensils to reduce scratching and help preserve the polished finish.
• If staining or discoloration does occur, combine baking soda with water or vinegar to form a paste. Rub the
paste on the piece with a soft cloth (slight bubbling may occur). Or simply clean with Nevr-Dull® Polish
(available at your local hardware, automotive, sporting goods, gift shops or antique stores). Thoroughly wash,
rinse and towel-dry the piece.
With simple care, your heirloom-quality products will provide years of enjoyment and satisfaction.

• As with any metal, it is not recommended that food be stored in your pieces for a sustained period of time,
especially foods containing fatty acids, salad dressing or vinegar.
• As with any cookware it is recommended to use your favorite cooking oil prior to grilling, however Olive
Oil and cooking sprays are not recommended as they burn easily at higher temperatures which can
damage or discolor the piece.
