Our AGM was held on Saturday 30th November 2013. The following committee members

2014 has already hit our door step. This year
we are hoping to hold 2 clinics, 2 practice
days (with a possible jackpot event at the end
of the day) and our championship show in August. We are also keen to run another judges
clinic early in the year.

Gold City Cutters now has a

In 2014 we are planning to move the club
events back to the Burdekin where it all
started. Charters Towers now has a number
of events being run by the new Gold City
Cutters club and we believe now that a venue
(Mio College) has become available it would
be advantageous for the club to make the
move. It will also shorten the travel distance
for competitors coming from both Southern
and Northern regions.

BQHCA Dates for 2014
Due to the planned change in location/venue
for next year we haven’t finalised our practice/clinic dates but our annual Championship Show will be held on the 2nd and 3rd of
August. Other dates will be dependent on the
weather, cattle and trainer availability.
Volunteers Needed
As always the club needs volunteers to help
out, if you or someone you know would be
willing to help out please let us know. The
most help is needed just prior, during and
after an event.
FYI - NCHA Rule Change
Under the current Rule book NCHA Events pg
9, point 1. J - Snafflebit rule description will
be changed to: ‘Horses may be shown using
one or 2 hands on the
bridle reins.’ For full

a number of our club events back to
the Burdekin we are keen to find volunteers in the area to help out.
For our shows we need people to take
photos, video, help with cattle, setup
and clean up, the list goes on. It would
also be great if we could find people
keen to help out with
sourcing sponsorship, apply for club
grants and other general club jobs.
