2010 Cansinala Barrio Fiesta April 9 – 11 Welcome & Happy Fiesta to Everyone! From Aurora Torres & family A message from the hermana-mayor: Our dear kabarrios & guests As we celebrate our annual barrio fiesta in 2010, let us stop and take a few moments to reflect and pray and give glory to God and praise and thanksgiving to Apung Maria for all the abundant blessings she bestowed upon us all and for protecting us from danger both natural and man-made. All of us have worked very hard in the past year to provide for our families and we deserve a few days where we can enjoy ourselves and the fruit of our labour in the company of our loved ones, relatives, friends and guests. Please join in the various Fiesta activities we have on offer for you as outlined in this programme especially in the procession and let us celebrate our fiesta as one community united in spirit. The ideas, enthusiasm, passion and support extended to us by each and every member of our community, both young and old have been overwhelming and very inspiring. We have also been touched by the devotion and kindness of our donors and sponsors both here and abroad. Through your untiring generosity we are getting closer each day to realising our dream of seeing the completion of our church construction. We also know deep in our hearts that throughout this journey, we have been guided by our late Tata, Antu, and Apung Maria so we can make the right decisions and deal with challenges along the way. We wish you a happy, memorable, peaceful and a meaningful Fiesta 2010. May Apung Maria continue to shower us with her graces and keep us safe in her love. Dacal pung salamat. Mike & Arlene Deeming (on behalf of Aurora “Oring” Torres & family) 2 3 A message from our parish priest: Kekayung pakamalan kung memaryo at parokyano king Cansinala, Fiesta ta na naman pu!
