This is the most economical
trellis post for grapevines.
Includes a retention tongue at
the base, so as to limit rotation
in the ground. This post is
ideally suited to low-lying vines.

The PROVINO range of recessed trellis posts is well-suited to different heights of fencing. Their open profile means that they stand firmly in the ground. Each face of the trellis post is grooved and reinforced, for improved rigidity.
Straight recesses in the upper part of the post, at intervals of 10 cm, make for easy
insertion of the wires.
Offset, slanting recesses in the lower section of the trellis post every 10 cm for fixed
wires. Holes, 7 mm in diameter are placed at 10 cm intervals at the centre of the post.
The recesses are correctly sized and well suited to use in sloping or windy vineyards.
No accessories are required, therefore resulting in considerable savings in time and
money.

These comprise a strong, square
section. Their considerable thickness
ensures excellent stability in the soil
and a high resistance to wire
tension. By means of the hooks
located on the back of the post,
this system is protected against
mechanical force, whilst still
allowing all wire-attachment
methods and can be adapted
to take all of the usual accessories.
It is particularly robust, thanks to its
anti-torsion profile.
This is a robust and stable post for
long rows. Its broad, ribbed
cross-section provides strong
resistance to torsion.
Three faces contain holes, 9 mm in
diameter, to facilitate the positioning
and moving of the wires, whilst also
permitting the use of chains or the
attachment

All of our trellis posts are supplied as standard with PRO HDG hot dip galvanisation. Upon request, they can also be supplied Sendzimir galvanised, or galvanised in alu-zinc.

• Degreasing in a heated bath.
• Chlorohydric dipping (contains no zinc).
• Rincing in order to avoid pollution of fluxing.
• Fluxing in a heated bath, in order to avoid surface reoxidation of the steel that is
exposed after coming from the dipping stage and before entering the zinc bath.
• Drying.
• Hot galvanisation by immersion in a zinc bath at 450°C.

The difference resides in the PRO HDG* quality high protection, giving the stakes a long lifespan which varies
depending on environmental factors such as atmospheric
pollution, phytosanitary treatments and the acidity of
the soil. Thickness of the zinc (pursuant to the French
standard NF EN ISO 1461 with extra thickness at the foot
of the stake) + electrochemical cathodic protection
unique to the galvanisation process = double protection.
