Volume 16, Issue 1 January 2016 KLAMATH CHAMBER NEWS A Message from your Chamber President Greetings, IN THIS ISSUE: Students of the Month Pg 2 Klamath This N That Pg 3 Senior Lunch Menu Pg 4 Nomination Form Pg 5 Community Calendar Pg 7 Chamber Contact Info Pg 8 My name is David Jones and I am the newly elected President for the Klamath Chamber of Commerce. I am very humbled that I have been elected to this position after being on the board for a year. As the New Year rings in, new challenges are ahead of me in this position. There are several ideas that I have in mind to help promote our town and try to get more services here. But the Chamber needs your help. We need you to come to our meetings, voice your concerns, become a member of the board (we currently have a couple of vacancies). So we can all be heard by the County Board of Supervisors, Sheriff, and others. We can ONLY be truly effective with a combined voice. Again Thank you for this opportunity to serve you. She is survived by her daughter Sherry and her granddaughter Mary and several close friends. Marilyn retired from Pacific Telephone in Sacramento in the late 1980's and returned to Klamath By Jan Crandall Prevent thread from tangling, run a threaded needle through a sheet of bounce before you begin to sew. The following are handy tips: Bounce can be used for various uses besides the laundry, such as: It takes the odor out of books & photo albums that are not opened very often. It also repels mosquitoes if a sheet is tied through belt loop when outdoors when working near ponds or lakes in the summer. Eliminates static electricity from your television or computerscreens. Since Bounce is designed to help eliminate static cling, wipe your TV screen with a used sheet of Bounce to keep dust from resettling. Collect car hair by rubbing the area with a sheet of Bounce, it will magnetically attract all the loose hairs. Well that is your hints for this issue.
