ANNUAL MEETING
Notice of the annual meeting of the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting
Working Group, Inc. is hereby given. The meeting will be held at the
South Point Hotel, 9777 Las Vegas Blvd., South, Las Vegas, NV 89183
on October 9, 2012 9:00 AM. local time. The meeting is called for the
purpose of receiving annual reports of the Officers and Directors, and
to transact such business which comes before the ARFFWG. Only
members of record as recorded in the Home Office of the ARFF
Working Group by August 9, 2012 shall be entitled to vote at the
meeting.
The ARFF Working Group Annual Conference and Training Symposium
is the premier event for the aviation fire fighting industry. This 4-day
conference will be packed with seminars, workshops and the
opportunity to network with fellow airport firefighters and industry
experts from around the world. Exhibit space will be ample. This may
be your one chance to see firsthand the newest technology in the
aviation fire fighting industry.

from 130-plus U.S. cities, Las Vegas is easy on your time and
budget.
In many cases, the close proximity of Las Vegas hotels

Nominations will be received for Directors from EvenNumbered Sections outlined in the current ARFFWG Bylaws
until July 8, 2012. Directors of the ARFFWG carry out the
management functions of the ARFFWG. From these Directors five (5) Officers are chosen who are delegated to run
the day to day administration. The Director positions are
an excellent opportunity to become directly involved in
ARFFWG operations.”

year. The basic registration fee for the 2012 conference is
$475.00 (early) and includes full attendance rights to all
ARFFWG activities. The ARFFWG registration also includes
one (1) ticket to the Annual Banquet at a discount rate.

Additional Ground Transportation:
For your convenience, the South Point Hotel, Casino &
Spa offers a scheduled shuttle to and from McCarran
Airport free of charge. This shuttle (1) is reserved for the
use of hotel guests only. Please check the shuttle

If you are planning on using the Airport Shuttle, you
must call and make reservations. Reservations can be
made by calling toll-free-866-791-7626 or local 702797-8901. Airport shuttle reservations are required to

board. Shuttle is not intended for group transfers.
Las Vegas Strip Shuttle Schedule
The South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa offers a scheduled
shuttle to the Las Vegas Strip. Tickets must be purchased from your driver on board the vehicle using
either cash or a credit card. The cost per passenger is $8
cash or $9.25 with a credit card and is valid for one
round trip ride to the strip and back on the date of
