We are so very pleased to have you join us tonight at this wonderful event. Through your generous support, we endeavor to make a tremendous impact on the health and well-being of our community. Your support of our Hospital Foundation at tonight’s event directly contributes to the procurement and placement of 30 life-saving automated external defibrillators in churches and non-profit organizations in Alleghany, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin counties. Ultimately all of us have the potential to be benefactors of this important, literally life-saving initiative. We hold most seriously our roles on the governing Board of Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital. We equally value your commitment to our overall mission and to this year’s goal. Tonight promises a grand celebration so relax, enjoy and BID! Thank you for sharing the evening with us. The Board of Trustees Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital 6 Board of Trustees Ann Ashman, Secretary Kevin Austin Bob Ball Dominick Carbone, MD Ercel Carter Alvaro Castillejo, MD David Cline, Treasurer Terry Darnell, Chairman James Freeman Phil Harris, Vice Chairman Dr. Bill Johnson J. L. Lowe, Jr. Barbara Myers, Asst. Secretary/Treasurer Mike Stanley Donna Thompson 7 Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital Foundation Salut! On behalf of the Board of Directors of Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital Foundation, welcome to the 2016 Yadkin Valley Wine Auction and Gala. The Hospital Foundation is excited about our 2016 Annual Campaign to raise $60,000 to place 30 life-saving automated external defibrillators in churches and non-profit organizations in Alleghany, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin counties. Sudden cardiac arrest can strike anyone, at any time, and at any age. When someone collapses in cardiac arrest, the first few minutes are critical to his or her survival. Many times, the person who has collapsed has a problem with heart rhythm and an automated external defibrillator is needed to restart the heart to its normal rhythm. We trust that you will see the value in our Foundation’s mission to save lives and will join us in this important work. Proceeds from tonight’s auction will benefit this year’s annual campaign. Our patients are our first priority, and we need your help to make this year’s project an overwhelming success. We appreciate all our donors and volunteers who work throughout the year, and we are especially grateful for your attendance tonight. Enjoy the evening. RayLen produced its first wines in 2000 and opened its doors for business in 2001 with the completion of the Tasting Room. RayLen Vineyards & Winery became a bonded winery in April of 2001 when only four other wineries in the Yadkin Valley existed. Today, there are over 20 wineries in the AVA approved Yadkin Valley and over 70 wineries in North Carolina. Taste the wines, tour the facility, and settle yourself in on the porch with a great bottle of wine, grown and produced by RayLen Vineyards & Winery. Tasting is a $200 value.
