WHY STUDY LANGUAGES?
The ability to speak different foreign languages is a fundamental part of an ever growing multi ethnic
society such as the one we live in. Knowledge of a new language can also allow one to find work more
easily both that one likes and finds satisfying, without forgetting the fact of the opportunity it gives to
enrich oneself and grow as a person due to being able to have the joy of discovering more about the
culture, practices, dress and traditions of another nation.
WHY CHOOSE ITALIAN?
Because it is the language of Dante Alighieri, like a melodic and facinating love song, the secrets of
which can be revealed a the Malatesta Center for Italian Language and Culture.
Studying with us is also synonymous to quality. Our school opened in 1976 and boasts a ten year old
team who are able to help their students reach exceptional levels. The teachers use methods and teaching
materials that are up-to-date. The students are introduced to a study program for the course which they
are attending which will enable them to learn effectivly the Italian Language in a friendly atmosphere
and with a sense of real teamwork.
AND AFTER THE COURSE?
Upon reaching a good level of Italian you can plan to follow up your studies at an Italian University or
find work. And don’t forget that at the holiday capital Rimini… every day is like a party!
The 15 Kilometers of sandy beaches never cease to amaze.
The immagination and hospitality of the beach attendants know no limits!
To lose yourself in your dreams or have your imagination captured is very easy!
All you have to do is visit one of our many theme parks that offer realistic fantasies.
And by night, for the young… and not so young, there is the oportunity to meet old friends and make
new ones at the many bars, traditional pubs and trendy discos.
With best wishes we welcome you to our Center and hope to share with you in your plans and dreams.
We look forward to meeting you.

THE CITY OF RIMINI
In fact this land is rich with relics of the past, the
reminders of a history which dates back to ancient
Rome; Etruscan and Celtic towns, colonies under
Latin control since tyar 268 AC and an imperial
municipality from the epoch of Augustus, Rimini
filed with splendid monuments. Later, during the
Renaissance period, it was the capital of the
Malatesta signory and with them the splendours of
a munificent court and the presence of some of the
most famous architects, artist an sculptors in Italy.
The Arch of Augustus and the Tiberian Bridge, the
Malatestian Temple and Sigismondo’s fortress, the
numerous castles and the antique churches rising
up in the hills of the inland, represent an artistic
and cultural patrimony which is really worth
discovering: an itinerary with to alternate the days
spent relaxing. A holiday area par excellence, the
most important in Europe due to its number of
qualified hospitality and bathing structures and for
the variety of entertainment, exhibitions and different
recreational ideas for guests of all ages. Its numerous
discos and the cosy bars along the seaside
promenades are our students’ favourite venues, in
which they can meet a lot of Italian young people
and spend their time together in a pleasant
atmosphere.

Farewell evening
STUDY ENGLISH AND SPANISH WITH US? WHY NOT!
This year we would like to tell you about a new propose of
our school. Why don’t you choose to spend a nice holiday in
our sunny town and attend an english or spanish course?
Our course includes 20 weekly lessons (45 minutes each
lessons) with the possibility of 2 lessons every afternoon with
our mother tongue teachers.
We also have courses to meet the Cambridge exam
requirements.
The Cambridge Main Suite of Examination courses are offered
three times a year in January, March and September for set
examinations in March, June and December. This course consists
of a 12-week preparation course, with 20 lessons per week in
classes of maximum 10 students, leading to the prestigious
Cambridge examination series: Cambridge First Certificate (CFC),
Cambridge Advanced Examination (CAE), and the newly formatted
Cambridge Proficiency Examination (CPE). In addition we will also
prepare you for the lower level examination KET and PET, which
can be studied over a seven-week period. IELTS (International
English Language Testing System) Examination has recently become very popular with Eastern countries.
Students MUST select either the Accademic or General Training Modules. Unlike the Cambridge series of
examinations that have fixed starting and examination dates, IELTS students can join a class at any time
during the year. Examinations are held on a monthly basis. However, students are not allowed to repeat the
test within 90 days.
INDIVIDUAL COURSES
EACH LESSON LASTS 60 MINUTES - 2/4/6/8 LESSONS A DAY
The individual courses are completely tailored to the student, considering their requirements both in terms
of length and dates. The one-to-one basis allows the adaption of teaching methods and pace to the needs of
the individual student, and the total availability of the teacher provides the opportunity for an intensive study
programme in a relaxed “study-dialogue” atmosphere. (Weekend
lessons are available on request). The individual courses from
Monday to Friday and, on request,
are particularly recommended for
those who, for professional or
personal reasons, must learn Italian
quickly and with excellent results.
The Institute’s courses are designed
specifically to meet any need and
can truly be considered custommade. In fact, upon registration
the student is asked to specify his
profession, interests and needs in
order that the faculty may prepare
suitable teaching materials. Our
methods enable even the absolute
beginner to achieve excellent results in a short time. The
school also offers a course that includes lunch-conversation.
The student and teacher have lunch in Riminese restaurants
that are selected on the basis of cuisine and service. Students
enrolled in individual courses can also participate in the
extracurricular activities.
