Our school has a long tradition of participating actively in the Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival and has been making every endeavour to explore and stretch our students’ potential in English speaking skills. Since the 1980’s, our outstanding achievements in speech events have gained us acclamation. Every year, more than 90% of the participants get over 80 marks and attain the Certificate of Merit. Our students also gained outstanding academic results in English Language. During the past six years, the passing rates in the HKCEE English Language and HKALE Use of English were 99% and 100% respectively. Problems encountered / Follow-up actions / Suggestions Reasons for being unsuccessful Actual Expenditure The NET could only stay in the school three mornings every week to help the students. It is recommended that the school will continue to solicit help from the same NET next year and invite her to help for longer hours if more fund is available $273,000.00 It is sometimes difficult for 1. the I.T. Assistant to take care of the I.T. jobs and the Campus T.V. at the same time 2. It is recommended that the school will keep the post and offer it to the serving I.T.
