FHSD INTERNAL GRANT COMPETITION
The FHSD Innovations in Wellness Fund was established to support research projects that explore new frontiers of scholarship
in wellness innovation, with a focus on translational research that aligns with the World Health Organization definition of
health: “Health is a mental state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely of disease or infirmity”.
Candidates will apply to the FHSD describing their research project and an internal review panel will award the grant.
Successful candidates will subsequently be required to submit an application to Mitacs for matching support.
 Amount of the award (stipend + research allowance): Master’s: $18,000+$2,000; Ph.D.,: $23,000+$2,000; Post-Doctoral:
$40,000+$5000
