ABOUT THE LEADERS WE USE AND THE DANCING WE OFFER
All our leaders are carefully selected and they are all professionally qualified dance teachers, well used to running a varied holiday dance programme geared to suit all levels of competence
and taste, within reason. All of them have lots of experience and are friendly and patient. They invite their dancers to request the dances they prefer and try to accommodate the wishes of
everyone at some point during the holiday. The leaders for each holiday are named, so that if you have a particular favourite, you can see where they are hosting holidays. All are correct at
the time of going to press, but things can sometimes happen to prevent leaders from being able to attend. If we know far enough in advance we will advise you of any change.

TYPES OF DANCING
“DANCING IN”
On most of our Sequence Dancing holidays, the dancing style is dictated by the dancers. We call these holidays “Dancing in” and on them the leaders will put on dances
requested (within reason) or which they deem suitable for the dancers on the holiday. Typically this will produce a mixture of old and new dances and holidays of this type
are those shown in this CREAM coloured panel. This formula served us well for 10 years, but more recently we have increasingly been asked to specify whether holidays are
for Up-to-Date Sequence Dancing or Social and Easy Sequence Dancing and now 50/50 dancing. In response to these requests, we now offer a wider choice of both
destination and type of hotel for all styles of dancing, in addition to our normal range of holidays. For the benefit of those who wish to specialise, therefore, we describe
below just what can be expected on each type of holiday. To spot them in the diary section, we have popped them into easily distinguishable coloured boxes.
POPULAR AND EASY SEQUENCE DANCING
We originally called these holidays “Social and Easy” but after having operated a number now, we feel this new title is more fitting. On these holidays the dancing will be as indicated
in the title and great care will be taken by the leaders to include the old favourites - recognised established dances, easily learned and easily understood - and they may occasionally
include, if it fits this description, a new dance. These holidays are the most suitable we offer for dancers who are new to Sequence Dancing. On 5 day holidays there will be dancing each
evening and a tea dance style session on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. On weekend breaks there will be dancing each evening and a tea dance style session on Sunday morning.
The format of these holidays is designed to ensure a relaxing few days of enjoyable dancing. Look for DEEP RED BOXES in the diary pages.
UP TO DATE MODERN SEQUENCE DANCING
On these holidays all the dancing will be dances which have been invented in the past few years or are such established favourites that no Sequence dancing
holiday could manage without them! On these holidays teaching will be of the latest dances.
Look for DARK BLUE BOXES in the diary pages.
50/50 DANCING
On these holidays all the dancing will be a mixture of Social Sequence and Ballroom or Latin. The Leaders will alternate one Sequence with either a Ballroom
or Latin dance, so that it is literally 50/50, as the name suggests. On these holidays during the morning sessions there will be some teaching to help you to
improve your style of dancing, or to experiment with a new style if you have not tried much Ballroom, Latin or Sequence before . Initially, these holidays will
run from Friday to Sunday with dancing on Friday and Saturday evenings and Saturday and Sunday mornings. Subject to feedback from our leaders, we will
consider longer holidays or ones operating midweek. If you are a 50/50 dancer, please let us have your views on length and days of operation.
Look for TURQUOISE BOXES in the diary pages.

years and additionally features a selection of intriguing prehistoric temples
that significantly predate both Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids.

It has 208 spacious and elegantly appointed bedrooms with coffee table & two chairs, ensuite bath and
shower and a balcony. All rooms also have telephone, air conditioning/heating, satellite TV (some channels
pay-per-view) and a hairdryer.
