It operates from Kleine Scheidegg to the
Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe through the world
famous north face of the Eiger and, at 3,454
metres (11,333 ft) above sea level, is the highest
railway station in Europe.
The station lies in a world of eternal ice and
snow, affording visitors breathtaking views of the
Aletsch Glacier, the longest in the Alps at 22 km
(14 miles), on 365 days of the year.
Other attractions include the Sphinx observation
building, Ice Palace, Ice Gateway and snow
plateau. In summer, the new Snow Fun – Top of
Europe is an excellent alternative on the Jungfraujoch-Top of Europe, with brand new snow-sport
activities like tyrolienne ride; skiing; snowboarding, snow biking; bike-sledges, sledging or snow
tubing.

Expressing the partnership are two Tissot countdown
clocks in the Jungfrau Region, on the Jungfraujoch–
Top of Europe and Kleine Scheidegg, to count the
days to the « zero hour » on 1 August 2012 that
marks the 100th birthday of the Jungfrau Railway. In
addition, the cooperation is celebrated with a collection of eight Tissot Jungfrau Special Edition watches
including a Jungfrau Limited Edition pocket watch to
be sold at selected points of sale.
