Flavia™ User Guides - Setting Up Filling with Water This user guide will help you undertake the task of setting up your Flavia™ Creation 400 Drinks Station to be filled with water. Connection to a mains water supply should only be undertaken by a trained engineer. Contact Office Beverages for more information 01454 311000. 1. Enter Operator Menu by pushing and holding bottom left and right drink selection buttons (fig. A). 2. Enter the default password by pressing top right drinks selection button 4 times (fig. B). 3. Press back / next to select water supply on Operator Menu (fig. C). 4. Select plumbed in or jug fill by pressing Edit + / buttons (fig. C). 5. Press Exit Menus. 6. Use cold water only to fill your Flavia Creation 400 Drinks Station. NB: Water must be filtered for pure drink quality and equipment warranty. Flavia™ User Guides - Setting Up Priming You cannot brew drinks if you have not primed the brewer first. The priming cycle fills the boiler with water. After this youtr brewer will be ready for use. 1. Enter Operator menu (push and hold bottom left and right buttons) (fig. A). 2. Press back / next to select ‘Hot tank control (fig. E). 3. Press Prime to activate. 4. Wait until message ‘tanks primed appears. 5. Press Exit menus. Configuring Energy Saving Mode In order to conserve energy the brewer can be configured to switch to standby mode after a specified time of inactivity. To configure the energy saving mode: 1. Enter Operator menu (push and hold bottom left and right buttons) (fig. A). 2. Enter passwrod (default password: press top right button 4 times (fig. B). 3. Press back / next to display the ‘standby timeout (mins)’ screen (fig. F). 4. Set time period for brewer to enter standby in minutes by pressing Edit + / 5. Press Exit menus If the brewer is inactive for the specified time it will enter standby mode. In this mode the boilers will be switched off and the displat will show a standby symbol (fig. G). Flavia™ User Guides - Setting Up Setting Operator Password The operator menu of the brewer can be password protected so as to prevent unauthorised access. To set a new password: 1. Enter Operator menu (push and hold bottom left and right buttons) (fig. A). 2. Enter passwrod (default password: press top right button 4 times (fig. B). 3. Press ‘Start?’ (fig. H). 4. Enter a unique four digit password using the six buttons on the left and right of the display (fig. I). 5 Confirm the 4 digit password to reset the menu screen and activate the new pasword. 6. Press Exit menus. If a password is lost or forgotten it can only be reset by a service engineer Changing the passwrod is not recommended unless the brewer is being used in conjunction with a paypod to prevent the brewer being switched to ‘Free Vend.’ Please contact your local Flavia supplier in the event of a lost or forgotten password. Selecting Your Cup Stand Choosing the right cup stand will mean your brewer stays cleaner for longer - the closer the rim of the cup is to the bottom of the filterpack door, the cleaner your brewer will be. Two cup stands are supplied. Please fit the appropriate cup stand as follows: Low Level: for cups between 94mm and 104mm tall Low Level: for cups between 94mm and 104mm tall
