A N E A SY TRIP
Stowe is an easy trip from just about anywhere. Located in north-central Vermont,
we’re only 40 minutes from Burlington International Airport, 15 minutes from
Interstate 89, and 15 minutes from the train station. Clear signs, light traffic,
well-maintained roads and breathtaking countryside make it a pleasant drive from
the airport or other northeastern locations. The route to Stowe is 90% state or
interstate highway, more than any other resort in the East.
From I-89, turn onto Route 100N and follow for 11 miles, until you reach your
first stop sign. This is the center of Stowe Village. Make a left at the stop sign onto
Route 108N, and follow this for approximately 6 miles. After about 5¾ miles, the
road will begin to rise steeply. As the road begins to level out, the Cross Country
Touring Center will come up first on the left. The Inn at the Mountain, the Toll House
Conference Center and the Administration Building are located an additional ¼ mile
up Route 108N on the left. The entrance for the Lodge Condominiums is located
another 1/10 mile on the left, but all lodging guests should check in first at the
Inn at the Mountain front desk. Spruce Camp Base Lodge is 1½ miles further up
Route 108N on the right hand side. The entrance for the Mount Mansfield and
Midway Base Lodges is an additional ¼ mile further on the left.
