Standard
The patent pending KOOOLBind™
is the only 3-ring binder that allows
pages to flip 360° and also permits
easy removal/addition of pages. Please
see page 12 for a detailed description
and more information.
The original KOMTRAK® binder with
slide-off spine is available for certain
planners, organizers, pocket-size books,
and as a separate binding component.

1. Punch holes in book to be bound with a standard
9
⁄16" c to c rectangular hole plastic comb punch die.
Straighten pages to align holes. To insert by hand,
place book to be bound on a table with the
punched side extending past the table edge.
2. Insert the first ring through the top of the first
hole on right. Use both hands to turn INSPIRAL™
through remaining holes.
NOTE: Use an electric plastic coil inserter for
higher productivity.
3. To secure INSPIRAL® to book:

INSTRUCTIONS
1. For new books, break spine in by gently flexing spine backward.
2. Attach Cover Clamps to front and back covers as in figure A.
(Not needed for hardcover books)
3. Wedge about 10 sheets into a Page Clamp on left side of book, or
amount needed to firmly attach Page Clamp. Do same on right side
and simultaneously place up to 25 sheets to be read under the
Page Tab. See figure B.
4. While holding book open for reading, tension and secure both ends
of elastic cord in Cleats.
5. To turn a page, slide page from under right hand Page Tab to under
left Page Tab. This is more easily done by temporarily decreasing the
Page Tab’s overlap of the page.
6. Once all pages under right hand Page Tab have been read,
rotate Page Clamps out of book, each in turn, while repeating step 3.
No need to adjust the cord.
