I have been blessed with the opportunity to have been raised in a unique industry. The life lessons I have learned from the sand & gravel/concrete industry have been extremely valuable. I am very thankful for the relationships that have been established from being a part of the MCIA and look forward to guiding the association in 2015. Our industry has faced tremendous change and challenges over the past several years. We all seem to be challenged every day with political, environmental, and human resource issues on top of our core business of producing and selling. We need to focus on working together as members to help one another move through these issues more effectively. This is where I believe the MCIA’s professional staff stands out. Through the association’s efforts in education, certification programs, environmental and political advocacy and technical support services, we can face & resolve the challenges as a group. I would like to thank the professional staff that guides the MCIA throughout the year. We appreciate your work and need your continued support. It is a pleasure to work with you.
