PRODUCT OF THE YEAR
The Brain Sentry Impact Sensor™ is calibrated to alert when the helmet experiences rapid acceleration or deceleration. It is not a diagnostic device.
Concussions and other brain injuries can occur at levels that will not trigger an alert. Do not depend on these sensors as a sole screening method for possible
injury. Ignoring this warning may lead to serious or fatal brain injury.
*Based on one year minimum commitment. Price and terms depend on model of sensor, number of units and term of subscription and are subject to change. Discounts are available for teams and leagues Contact Brain Sentry for details.

If your son is like most athletes, he doesn’t want to be pulled off the field. Most athletes will actually hide symptoms of concussion. He might not even know he has one, and knowing is criDcal because many catastrophic brain injuries are the result of second impacts to already concussed athletes. Brain Sentry monitors impacts and helps idenDfy athletes that should be assessed for concussion. Brain Sentry also helps coaches idenDfy players with tackle techniques that include excessive head/helmet contact. Technically advanced. Easy to use.
Brain Sentry’s award-‐winning sensor technology esDmates direcDon, peak acceleraDon, and duraDon of impacts as experienced at the center (CG) of the head. Three models are available, providing hit counDng and/or impact alerts. Brain Sentry’s hit count technology displays the total number of hits (at >20g) for the year and for the past 7 days. The impact alert provides an indicaDon that the player should be checked ager an unusually hard hit. If a player is cleared to return to play, the red light is reset. Simply peel-‐and-‐sDck to the back of the helmet. The sensor lasts an enDre season with no maintenance and no baKeries to be charged. All Brain Sentry sensors are available via annual subscripDon. Brain Sentry sensors are waterproof, weigh 1 oz and are guaranteed to never break or run out of power. Helmet Testing and Helmet Warranty
You can feel comfortable that when you aKach a Brain Sentry sensor to your son’s helmet there is no adverse effect on the helmet performance. Brain Sentry sensors have been tested at an independent test lab, under the direcDon of NOCSAE’s Technical Director (NOCSAE is the helmet safety standards organizaDon). The results: no adverse affect on helmet performance – even when an impact is directly on the sensor. If the helmet manufacturer refuses to honor their warranty due to the sensor being on the helmet, Brain Sentry will cover the warranty. “One of the biggest hurdles to appropriate clinical management of sports concussion is iden>fying athletes for an ini>al assessment on the sports sideline. One way, I believe, to address the problem is to employ impact sensors… I love the Brain Sentry product for many reasons.” Brooke De Lench* Sports Paren>ng Expert Founder: MomsTeam.com “For me personally, I think the era of dumb helmets, in which you have no clue how many impacts that brain inside that helmet has sustained, is quickly coming to an end. I think sensors are a big part of Julian Bailes, MD* the solu>on for football. The Brain Sentry solu>on Medical Director is the best I have seen.” Pop Warner Football
