Day 1, Monday
Today we relish the sights of a
Midwest winter wonderland on our
way to our overnight accommodations
in the St. Louis, MO, area.
Day 2, Tuesday
This afternoon, we arrive at our
destination of Branson, MO, the
“Music Capital of the World,” where
we check into our hotel for the next
three nights, the Grand Country Inn.
Once settled into our rooms, we
head for a scrumptious dinner before
our evening entertainment takes us to
the Tri Lakes Center for the Mel
Tillis and Family Christmas Show.
Mel Tillis is an American country
music legend with an extremely talented family. Although he has been
recording songs since the late 1950s,
his biggest success occurred in the
1970s with a long list of Top 10 hits.
Joining him onstage this evening are
his superstar daughter Pam; awardwinning songwriter & performer
“Sonny” Mel, Jr. and the multi-talent-
ed Broadway performer, Carrie April.
This is one talented family! B, D
Day 3, Wednesday
This morning we head to the
Grand Country Music Hall for our
chance to see the Down Home
Country Show, the best place in
Branson to hear traditional country
music. With an incredible cast of
singers and pickers, we will literally
step back in time to enjoy the classics
of George Jones, Hank Williams,
Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings.
You will love the variety of dynamic
singing, side-splitting comedy, powerful gospel, barn-burning bluegrass
and down-home fun. If you don’t hear
your favorite, the gang will even take
a few requests!
This afternoon we have some free
time to enjoy Branson at our leisure
before venturing off for a sure-toplease dinner. Our evening show is
at the spectacular Andy Williams
Moon River Theatre for the Andy
Williams Christmas Show. We have
watched Andy’s Christmas show year
after year for decades on television;
this year we see it live and in person!
It is one of the most beautifully choreographed and musically arranged holiday events in Branson!
As we head back to our hotel this
evening, we take a break to unwind
from our busy day by driving through
the Branson Festival of Lights. Our
journey takes us on a one-mile drive
along a path aglow with over 175
sparkling holiday light displays. This
unique drive is sure to leave you feeling like a kid on Christmas morning.

Day 4, Thursday
This morning we get to see one of
the newest Branson phenomenon,
the Twelve Irish Tenors. From opera
to pop, Irish folksongs to holiday
favorites, this hugely talented group
of 12 Irishmen sing with perfect harmonies and lilting melodies with a
magical Irish charm that has won
them legions of fans worldwide. Sold

out tours in Europe and America have
made this show one of the hottest
productions in years!
We spend our afternoon with Jim
Stafford. This little poem should sum
up our time with Jim: ‘Twas the month
before Christmas and all through the
town, all the tourists were giggling
with Branson’s Class Clown! The families together all snug at Jim’s show,
while sounds of great laughter could
be heard in each row. Mom gave a
giggle and Pop a big chuckle, he’s
laughing so hard that he busted a
buckle. When all of the sudden there
arose such a clatter, Jim sprang from
the stage to see what was the matter.
He tripped on his mic and fell to the
floor, then flew down the aisle and
threw open the door. And what to his
wondering eyes should appear but
dear Santa Claus with eight tiny reindeer. Santa said with a wink and a
laugh that was hearty, “Ho, Ho, Ho,
we’re all here for Jim’s Christmas
Party!”
After dinner this evening, we enjoy
the Shoji Tabuchi Christmas Show
at the world famous Shoji Tabuchi
Theatre. Shoji, his wife Dorothy and
their daughter Christina have been
delighting Branson audiences for
years. It is hard to tell which is more
awe-inspiring — their fantastic show
or the theatre that is almost a phenomenon in itself...often called the
“Showplace of Branson.” Its decor is
reminiscent of the grand theatre
palaces of the 1930s. Even the restrooms have awed visitors. B, D
Day 5, Friday
We leave Branson behind us late
this morning and head to the St.
Louis, MO, area for our overnight
accommodations. B
Day 6, Saturday
Today we sit back, relax and watch
the sights go by as we head home
with beautiful Branson memories to
share with our family and friends
upon our return. B
