South West PA Register Instructions for PAs SW PA Register Instructions for PAs using the Register The PA Register is a way of introducing PAs to Employers and Employers to PAs. The personal information such as full name, address, telephone number and email address are not shared by the PA Register. When PAs and Employers want to meet their contact details should be given in a message. When you log on to the website: www.sw-pa.org you will see the following page Click on the box that says ‘PAs Sign-up here!’ and the following screen will appear: When there is an * on a section you will need to put information into this section otherwise you will not be able to proceed to the next screen. You may click on preview your form information or go click on ‘Next’. On the next screen you will indicate the days and times that you are available to work. You will then complete information about your travelling arrangements: The next screen will be for your experience and education information. This screen will be about the Criminal Record Bureau. Previously the DBS check was called a CRB check so please complete the form as if it referred to a DBS check. When you select Register it will take you to a confirmation screen. You will the receive two emails , one to say that an application has been sent to the PA Register and the other confirming your user name and password. Until I have checked your application when you login you will see the following screen. Once I have checked your application you will be able to search for an employer. When you login you will see the following screen. To search for an employer click on Find an Employer on the right hand side Then click on Location and select the town from the drop down box. There are other ways to search but this is the one way I find the easiest. The employers in the town that I have selected are show below: You may then send a message to an employer. Only one message can be sent before a reply is received. If you wish to see an example of a message you can put a tick in the box to see two examples.
