addition to the collection.
Within this catalogue you will find a comprehensive selection
of both loose rows, coloured stone combinations, earrings,
and pendants so that you have every opportunity to satisfy
any cultured pearl enquiry.
Because our jewellery is made ‘in-house’ we are able to supply
necklaces to any length required, and, although not illustrated,
a matching bracelet can also be made to echo the necklace.

Care of Pearls
Seed pearl necklaces
Cultured pearls are easily scratched so need to be kept in a
separate compartment in a jewellery box.
We prefer to estimate restringing these as each individual
necklace can be very complex.
The alcohol in perfume and hair spray is particularly damaging
to the pearl nacre so at least five minutes should be allowed for
the vapour to disperse before pearls are worn.
Pearls should be cleaned after wear by drawing them through
a damp cloth.
A pearl necklace or bracelet should be restrung every 12 to
18 months and preferably knotted between each pearl to
prevent wear, and as added security should the silk break.
Restringing Service
Our bench jewellers have a wealth of experience restringing all
types of pearl and bead necklaces.
Irrespective of value, simulated, cultured freshwater and
cultured saltwater necklaces all take a similar time to restring.
