Corrigan Instruments is located in Georgetown, Ontario
Canada was established in 1981
Corrigan Instruments offers customers in the mining
industry customized design, manufacture and installation
of measurement and control systems
In 1983 Corrigan successfully manufactured and
marketed the Satmagan worldwide for over 20 years
The successor to the Satmagan is the Corrigan MagCorr
Magnetite Analyzer

Joe Corrigan – President
Mr. Donald (Joe) Corrigan has many years experience in senior
positions in the mining industry as head of the Instrument
Department at Texas Gulf Kidd Creek Mine in Timmins Ontario,
Senior Instrument Engineer with Falconbridge Dominicana in the
Dominican Republic as well as a partner and shareholder in
Outokumpu Instruments Canada
Industry Award
The Canada Centre for Mineral and Energy
Technology of Natural Resources Canada presented
Mr. Corrigan with the CANMET Technology Award
for the development of the CYANCOR Free Cyanide

Bring up the % Magnetite display

Display: Sample Name; Equation Name & Number
Percent Indication bar
Read Sample bar indicating no. of next sample to read
Press Read Sample and bar turn red
Place vial in sample holder & press red bar
When % Magnetite value is displayed
Press the red STOP READING bar & remove sample vial
Press DATA to display RAW COUNTS to % value

Calibration




Enter access code supplied with each MagCorr to prevent unauthorized
changing of a calibration Curves
Minimum of four calibration points covering the low, mid and high range
of Magnetite
Enter Raw Counts to known % magnetite values for all points
Press CALCULATE EQUATION CONSTANTS and the internal MagCorr
Processor produces the Calibration Curve for that set of samples

Press Plot Equation to view calibration curve

The MagCorr can accommodate up to16 calibration curves
