Founded in 1977 by Bob Pierce and his son Bobby, Woodco manufactured custom wood turnings for the furniture industry. Since its birth, Woodco has come a long way, currently producing a line of high quality furniture. These products are offered in oak, cherry, quartersawn and maple. Can’t find the table size you need, we can customize it for you. But we haven’t stopped here, in May we introduced a new line of occasional furniture skillfully hand crafted with our same Woodco standards. Our desire is to produce furniture that will not only bring beauty and enjoyment to your home, but will surely become a family heirloom. If it is damaged, it can be repaired because it is hardwood throughout. Hardwoods are a natural fiber. Therefore, even furniture that has a good protective finish may swell or shrink slightly from one season to another. Extremely dry conditions will have an opening effect in the grain of the wood. In a damp environment, it can swell and warp out of shape. Exposure to direct sunlight can cause changes to occur in the wood or finish. Care needs to be exercised to avoid these extremes. We expect every piece of furniture you receive from us to live up to your high standards in both finish and construction. The following care will keep your fine wood furniture looking like new for many years. Dust and Fingerprints: Regularly wipe the surface with a soft cloth dampened with a cleaning polish or mild detergent. Spills: Clean up promptly as above. Heat and Humidity: Avoid excessive prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and high humidity. Cleaning Products: We highly recommend a non wax polish or mild detergent solution. Avoid ammonia based products or silicone oils, as these will cause damage with repeated use. •Varnish on furniture MUST be 30 days old for full care. This means that the clear coat of varnish on your furniture is not completely durable and chemically resistant until it has been on the wood for at least 30 days. • Avoid scouring action, placing hot objects on furniture and placing hot objects on plastic mats on furniture for at least 3 weeks after receiving. • Clean and maintain furniture with Heirloom Essentials Spotless Cleanser and Fine Furniture Polish or other silicone-free / ammonia-free furniture polish and cleanser using a clean soft microfiber towel.
