We are proud to present what is probably the largest hammock in the world!
It even amazes the Brazilians! We have utilized approx. 6.000 cotton threads to make
six square metres of luxuriously woven hammock material. Over 30 m of specially thick
braided cords provide support for the broad spread of this huge lounging surface. And
so, the Gigante was born – the perfect connection between two hanging points, ideal for
several people to comfortably lie in. Gigantic!

special Jacquard weaving method. The Jacquard loom produces more than an attractive

Paradiso is the best in Brazilian hammock comfort and something quite special:
Only very few looms are suitable for making a 1.75 m wide sheet. In order to make
this giant hammock both extra sturdy and super soft at the same time, almost 5.000
threads are woven together!
We connect the extra thick cords again here by hand with a woven band so
that concentrated loads are compensated for, giving the hammock an very long

We have managed to make our spreader bar hammocks as comfortable as the classic
Brazilian hammock with no bar. We achieved this by firstly using a special, amazingly soft and
flexible thread in a high quality thickness (350 g/m²), and secondly by making the material
significantly wider than the bar: 140 x 80 cm bar. This provided for a wonderful arch in which
one can hang comfortably and securely!

In Brazil approximately 25.000 children live completely neglected on the street. Every day they
fight for survival.
The association “Der Kleine Nazareno e.V.” was
established in 1994 to enable the children a humane
existence. Two Nazareno villages, which today offer a
new home for more than 110 children, have been
created in the last ten years.
The Nazareno villages lying outside the centres of
Fortaleza and Recife offer the children an accommodation in which they will be looked after around the clock.
There they attend from the very first day one of
the special state-recognised schools with the option
to attend a secondary school. Starting at age 15,
the instruction will be supplemented with practical
vocational training.
After that the children will be supported in the search
for work, and accompanied step by step until they finally stand on their own feet.
