On Thursday, February 5th, the 21st Annual Alabama Lifestyles Expo, will be held at Caribe Resort in Orange Beach. The event a racts Snowbird visitors and locals who wish to learn more about what Alabama has to offer in a spacious and beau ful se ng. The emphasis is on the great ameni es available in South Baldwin County. The event regularly draws more than 4,000 visitors. Exhibitors represent companies that provide products and services that improve your quality of life and make trips to the Gulf Coast more enjoyable. The EXPO is most popular with Snowbirds, but it offers something of interest for all ages. More than 80 exhibitors will provide upbeat informa on and promote healthy living and quality of life programs geared mostly for people over 50. The expo is a free public event with plen ful covered onsite parking and a endees can drop passengers off at any one of the three exhibit hall entrances. The day a er Valen nes’ Day, We’ll take our annual bus trip to Mobile for Mardi Gras. You’ll want to rest up a er Valen ne Day and Mardi Gras because we have a Rumba Party planned for Saturday, the 21st. This will be a “happy hour” type of party hosted by Bella Terra and Dance Instructor Sherry Cook. No dance experience is necessary and all ages and abili es are welcome! Guests will be asked to bring their favorite appe zer to share, the resort will provide wine and beer, and Sherry will teach us how to Rumba! Locally, the Sunday before Fat Tuesday is also known as “Joe Cain Day”. It is a day of parades and celebra on! We’ll board the bus and depart from Bella Terra at 9 am, arriving in Downtown Mobile around 9:45 am. Guests can stop in at Callaghans Irish Social Club for a (nearly) world famous bloody mary, and then a end in the best street party in the SeafoodFestivalFebruary

And we’ll close out the month with the Orange Beach Seafood Fes val from 10 am – 4 pm on the Saturday, the 28th. The Fes val is a full day of delicious food, arts & cra s vendors and music for the whole family. The fes val includes a silent auc on, car show featuring an que, classic & hot rod vehicles. On January 28th, Bella Terra hosted an “All Request” House Concert Featuring BAT. Although the resort has hosted many events in the past that featured a musical performer or band, BAT’s talent and unique show made this event a hit! The show was totally audience driven- that to say that all of the songs were requested by the audience and resort guests and owners really enjoyed the sing along style of the show.
