It is possible to go inside a ‘cucumber’ (a Jelcz 043) and also a beautifully renovated ‘Bremen’ no 144 Tram Car, which was first brought to Szczecin in 1926, and is now the best known exhibit in the museum collection. A further great attraction is a driving simulator installed in the original driving cabin of a vintage seventies tram. Younger children can have a great time playing multi-media games, whilst learning about the history of the trams. The museum provides educational activities for young people and children during workshops and a variety of lessons. The permanent exhibits include collections of: items of nautical interest, coins and archaeological exhibits. The biggest collection of exhibits in Poland illustrating the everyday life of Africa, America and Oceania is housed here.
