A collection of ‘cult’ Polish vehicles: Syrenka,
Jelcz, Helmut, Kaszlak and Junak, housed
in a former tram depot. It is possible to go
inside a ‘cucumber’ (a Jelcz 043) and also a
beautifully renovated ‘Bremen’ no 144 Tram
Car, which was first brought to Szczecin in
1926, and is now the best known exhibit in
the museum collection. A further great attraction is a driving simulator installed in the
original driving cabin of a vintage seventies
tram. Younger children can have a great time
playing multi-media games, whilst learning
about the history of the trams. The museum
provides educational activities for young
people and children during workshops and
a variety of lessons. A number of artistic
events take place on the site of the museum,
for example: ‘the night of fire – Ceramics in
Szczecin’.
