• In 2014 alone, over 8 million field hours worked with a
year-end IR of 0.99
• Through March 2015, 42 recordables on 10 million field
hours worked.
• Majority strains and hand injuries
• Majority have been craft within 60 days on the projects
• 2015 YTD, contractor IR is 0.44, lost- time rate of 0.00
• Project Engineering received the Kentucky Governor’s
Safety Award in 2014 recognizing zero Recordables
since department’s inception a decade ago.
