rd
due to the science fair. All students must bring their own lunch. Thank you.

In addition to tuition and re-registration fees, we are continuing the parish based fee for 2016-2017, which will
assist us in moving ahead as an independent parish school. This additional revenue will allow us to ensure our
ability to operate independently, offset additional costs of being a parish based school and maintain the high
quality of our educational programs. Accordingly, there will be a per family charge of $250 for one child, $400
for two children and $500 for three or more children.
This year, all families must enroll in the automatic checking account deduction for payment of reregistration fees. Checks will not be accepted for re-registration. Additionally, all families electing to pay
tuition monthly will have tuition and the parish based fee deducted automatically from their checking account
over 12 months. Families choosing to pay tuition and the parish based fee annually or semi-annually may do so
by check or automatic deduction from their checking account.
Please attach the form below to the Automatic Checking Account Deduction Agreement and return it to
school by Tuesday, March 1, 2016. Re-registration fees will be deducted on March 24, 2016.

On February 4 th , we had hoped to have Dan Gutman visit Annunciation Elementary School. Due to a family emergency, we had to cancel his visit. However, we wanted to reassure you that he will be coming to Annunciation on M ay 10 th , 2016. Dan will be presenting his program to students in Grades K-‐6. If you purchased books, do not worry. Dan Gutman will sign each copy of the book(s) that you purchased and they will be ready for your child to take home that same day. We appreciate your patience as we worked to reschedule this special visit. *If you have any questions, please contact: Jen Hefner (914) 497-‐1080 or Salem Crabtree (914) 260-‐8722 or

Parents:
All kids entering 7th and 12th grade
must have the meningococcal vaccine.
Without it, they can’t start school.
About the Vaccine:
• It’s not a new vaccine. It’s been recommended for a decade.
• Most parents already choose to vaccinate their children.
• What’s new is that the vaccine will be required for school entry
as of Sept. 1, 2016.
About Meningococcal Disease:
• It causes bacterial meningitis and other serious diseases.
• Teens and young adults are at greater risk.
• It comes on quickly and without warning.
• Its symptoms are similar to the flu.
• Every case of this disease can result in death or
long-term disability.
Check with your doctor. Even kids who have had a shot before may
need a booster to start school.
