BLUE ROOM
Drawing inspiration from the prediction of inky blues being very much on
trend in AW15 and beyond, this collection is luxurious, rich and decadent.
Its palette is that of a jewel-like Victorian drawing room – deep cobalt
blues pop against coppers, ambers and rich garnet tones. These intense
colours are enhanced through textural play with light, be it candlelight
through honeycomb cut glass, reflections on detailed, hand-painted
mirrors or the way that a velvet chair’s nap glows. Sourced from the four
corners of the globe, this story features Peruvian hand painted glass,
hand embossed copper cabinetry and trunks made of panelling sourced
from Indian antiques, ensuring every piece is unique and has a narrative.
This Blue Room is tactile and sumptuous, deep in palette
and rich in history.

English Eccentric
Animal motifs in heavy, ornate rococo frames are formed through
canvases, landscape paintings and portraiture are actually chests of
drawers, whilst chairs and Grecian style architectural beading is really just
a cushion. Our design team present to you an extraordinary collection
with eccentricity and a smile at its heart.
For finishing flourishes, cobalt blue butterflies in bell jars combine with
mercury metallics of silver and copper whilst giant glass candlesticks
point to fragile objects that look like tiny needlepoint fine explosions.
Skewed scales, optical illusions and quirky twists on traditional themes,
English Eccentric conjures up scenes of curiosity shops, obsessive
collectors and Victoriana… all is not what it seems.

If you can picture a sprawling, turreted French Chateau as layered and
as beautiful as a wedding cake surrounded by endless lavender filled
gardens then you know exactly where our inspiration came from for the
new Manoir theme!
Detailed and intricate yet grand and magnificent, this natural Mindi
Wood furniture collection with gentle, rustic distressing is finished with
stunning contrasting materials, antiqued mirror, traditional caning,
raw aluminiums and dove grey paint.
The range is juxtaposed with beautiful Ikat patterns in lamp shades, rugs
and upholstery giving it a totally on trend feel. Candlelight, mirrors and
shimmering crystals add further chateau elegance to this theme. It truly
is an enduring and ageless look which can be used in any space from
capacious dining rooms to intimate boudoirs.

FARMHOUSE
Offering a mix of muted tones and soft textures, the Farmhouse look
has warmth and true fireside appeal. Slubby linen ticking on large
upholstered easy chairs sit alongside simple, yet delightful, animal forms
in chalky whites and silvers, brought together with softly distressed and
painted furniture in greys and natural woods. This story has age and
comfort attached to it, as if everything has been collected in a country
residence over the years and is still treasured and enjoyed.

Nordic Pale
A distinctly Scandinavian inspired collection. Chalky palettes of duck egg
blue, biscuit and blonde upholstery with fine stripes are paired with light
wood and blackened metal furniture. Proportions are balanced whilst
giving a nod to retro styling.
Accents of blue sea glass and smooth coppers bring in a playful finishing
touch along with raw aluminium vases, jugs and bowls. Soft knotted rugs
in dove greys add to the simple Scandi style – proof that a no
fuss approach to design doesn’t have to mean a lack of complete
calm and luxury.

Eastern Travels
A journey of oriental discovery, Eastern Travels creates an air
of dark and moody tones, lit only by the flame of candlelight.

PEARL
Pearl, so called because of the beautiful, iridescent tones found in
this beautiful range’s furniture. Each artisan crafted product has been
painstakingly inlaid with bone pieces in swirling, natural motifs, meaning
no two items are the same. And just like a pearl, each one is rare
and unique.
This story evokes a soft, romantic and feminine quality. Powdery greys
velvets and antique roses, softened natural silvers and dewy plum glass
pieces are paired with the bone inlay to create a poetic setting. Accents
of Enchanted Forest branches which can be used to hang jewellery or
simply as Objet D’Art, elegant glass cloches and hand engraved chalky
mirror frames make Pearl that bit more of a precious find.

Luxe
Elegant, shimmering and noble, the Luxe story is all about reflective
finishes, feminine curves, polished silvers and statement pieces. But
the small details are also key to rounding off the story. Fragile crystal
droplets, shimmering silver chain cascading from chandeliers and
delicately embroidered sequins can all be found. Oversized decorative
objects and bold chandeliers are what Libra has made a name for, and
this collection has been only further enhanced by a striking dining
collection featuring metallic embossing and polished bar ware. Luxe
is grand, the ultimate in hotel chic and dazzling, but there is a detailed
delicate nature to it too, making it the perfect timeless Libra theme.

Equestrian is a theme that is chic, pared back and luxurious. Steel and

Petersham
Bringing the outside in, Petersham unearths shades of greens and
browns combining them with zinc topped tables and washed, reclaimed
oak wooden furniture. Creating a lush, verdant collection, the natural feel
is bought together through traditional detailing, battered leathers and
botanical beauties, most suited to a nature lover. Accessories continue
this theme, with root-like features creating natural shapes and pale aged
woods adding the finishing touch.

A bold and glamorous collection, Empire effortlessly mixes walnut 50s
style cabinetry with flamboyant, detailed golds. Confidence and scale
is all important here - there are idiosyncrasies that normally shouldn’t

Libra was the result of an epic journey across the globe to India. Joe and Christine
McLaughlin left the UK in 1969 on a three year journey which would take them via Portugal
to Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, ending in South Africa in 1971. They collected antiques and
artefacts along their journey which they sent home. Upon returning to the UK they began
selling their wares to independent retailers. And so Libra was born. Four decades on, our
family owned business aims to inspire our customers through passion, knowledge and
instinct, providing them with beautifully crafted products that sell.
