DECORATIVE DIES
Can’t find a flower in the colour you need? Why not create your own flowers and
foliage using the new Decorative Dies in the papers from the collection you are using.
Cut out 4 of each size of the round petal
flowers using the Layered Flowers die.
Scrunch these up and then layer. Glue
together.
Layered Flowers (DD707)
Rolled Flowers (DD710)
Cut out the plain rolled
flower using the die.
For the scalloped edged
flower, lightly mist the
paper with water and
carefully curl back the
edges of each petal.

Starting with the outside,
roll towards yourself. When
you get to the centre, glue
the end of the spiral to the
base of the flower.
Roll towards yourself as
above.
Cluster different size pearls in
the centre, or use a pearl brad
to finish.
TIP: if you have a pair of
pointy nose tweezers these
make it easier to hold
the end and roll towards
yourself.
TIP: Try to keep the bottom
edge of the flower in line as
your roll.
Use a black card with the
opening at the bottom.
Cut a piece of the diamond
gloss paper from the paper
pad and gently mist over the
design. Rub off any excess
ink. The gloss design acts as
a resist and the design will be
highlighted.
Run a small strip of pink spots
across the bottom along with
the black die cut scallop border
(from the back section of the
paper pad).
Cluster a rolled flower, layered
flowers and vines together with
paper blooms in the lower right
corner of the card.

Adhere the word BEAUTIFUL
from the collectables pack to
complete card.
Use a white card and ensure opening is
at the bottom. OR Cut a piece of white
cardstock
27cm x 13.5cm and fold in half to create a
square card.
Cut a square from the dotty gold foil paper
and adhere to the centre of the card.
Create three rolled flowers, two with
scalloped petals and cluster together in the
lower right corner of the card.
Cut out leaves using the leaves die and
adhere to each side of the flower cluster.
Complete card by adhering quote and
butterflies from the collectables pack.
TIP: With the scalloped rolled flower, lightly
mist the paper and slightly turn over each
petal before rolling towards the centre.
