Automatic checking and sorting machine SIMET AVIKO type D Automatic sorting machine AVIKO SIMET is a new generation of automatic sorting machines from Czech Republic and it is based on machines AVIKO type U, E and C which are the etalon of quality more than 30 years. The running Automatic sorting machines are more than 500 pcs all around the world. The new AVIKO SIMET exploit absolutely new technology in the hardware and software as well and become to be easy handling for users than any other similar sorting machines for bearing balls. AVIKO SIMET machine guarantees as the only one 100% quality of controlled bearing balls and proves invariable quality of ball classification guaranteed by exclusion of human factor in particular. The technique control is carried out by three sensors simultaneously: ❶ electro-optical sensor EOT ❷ eddy current sensor ECT ❸ vibration sensor EVT Balls are sorted to three groups: good repairable (rejected by EOT sensor – surface defects) irreparable (rejected by ECT or EVT sensors – gross surface, surface and subsurface defects and defects caused by non- homogeneity of the material). ❹ Due to the control roller the entire surface of the ball is checked. ❶ ❷ Description Functions of controlling cycle are at the Automatic sorting machines AVIKO SIMET entirely controlled by new generation processor. Electro – Optical Test (EOT) ❹ Totally new generation of EOT unit, which is now 100% digital, allows sorting defects in two channels (modes) simultaneously, that means AVIKO SIMET know sorting with new red visible Electro-optical sensor (EOT sensor), various types of defects. AVIKO SIMET allows combine always 2 options from below: evaluation of spot defects with suppression of differing ball polish, evaluation of spot defects including reduced polish by comparing with the polish of preceding balls, evaluation of reduced polish by comparing with the polish of preceding balls and with suppression of spot defects. evaluation of absolute polish. The etalon is absolute polish ball, defined by producer. New digital EMT unit New digital unit combine Eddy Current unit and Vibration unit in one unit. Eddy Current Test (ECT) Vibration Test (EVT) Totally new generation of EMT unit allows sorting defects in two channels (modes) simultaneously, that means AVIKO SIMET know sorting with new pencil Eddy Current sensor (ECT sensor), various types of defects. AVIKO SIMET allows combine always 2 options from below: The new digital EMT unit evaluate EVT sensor signal with better sensitivity. This test is used only to reject large shape defects which could disturb the regularity of the ball rolling and cause not scanning of the entire surface by ECT and EOT sensors. evaluation of cracks with optimal suppression of the material noise evaluation of cracks with the highlighted signal of shape defects compromised suppression of the material noise. evaluation of shape defect with optimal suppression of the material noise Control of rejecter of different diameters This control rejects balls that do not correspond to required dimensions. Selection of balls is practiced before the entrance of ball to checking point by means of long accurate stainless steel rollers. New ECT feature – MULTIFREQUENCY ECT Totally new generation of EMT also allows setting frequency of ECT. That is quite new feature and users can now set which frequency they need to use with reference to depth of penetration they need to measure. Users can adjust frequency from 150 KHz to 1.2 MHz.
