Our focus is not profit but to provide all participating exhibitors and attendees a unique and positive view of the small businesses that make up our industry. Our volunteer committee works hard to ensure exhibitors have the best opportunity to promote their businesses and the building industry. The houses will be displayed at the Gallatin Valley Mall midFebruary to March 23. On March 23rd the houses will be moved to the Brick Breeden Fieldhouse where they will be on display during the SWMBIA Home Show. Playhouse Specifications Build SAFELY! Due to the limitations of exhibition space there are a number of building requirements. Playhouses shall be no larger than 6’ 6’’ wide, 9’ 6’’ high, and 9’ 6’’ long. It is recommended that the playhouses be built to be easily transported to locations. This can include easily moveable sections for assembly on-site to expedite the move-in process as well as the move- out and delivery process. Any variations on these specifications to be reviewed by the Playhouses on Parade committee. Additional Information Exhibitors are responsible for moving their projects to *Gallatin Valley mall or designated area on February 15th between 8:00am and 10:00am. Additionally, exhibitors are responsible for moving the projects to the Brick Breeden Field House on March 25th between 8:00am and 10:00am as well as delivery and set up at winners location. Signage for each playhouse will be provided by SWMBIA and will include the General Contractor and a list of all contributing suppliers and sub-contractors. Premium exhibitor placement will be based on a first registered first serve basis and the size of the projects. RULES & REGULATIONS 1. Space: The contracted space must be used solely by the exhibitor whose name appears on the contract. No portion may be sublet or assigned. Each exhibitor must be in place and ready for business at least one-half hour prior to the show open on the first day of the show. All booths to be staffed during show hours and removal of goods prior to show closing is prohibited. 2. Exhibitors, must, at their own expense, keep their spaces cleaned and their exhibit in good order. 3. Exhibit Content and Manner of Use: The HOME EXPO Committee reserves the right to make decisions relative to show content and reserves the right to reject exhibitor which deems detrimental or not specifically appropriate to the HOME EXPO. 4. No exhibit will be permitted until booth fee is paid in full. 5. Eventualities: The HOME EXPO Committee shall not be liable for any damages or expenses incurred exhibitors in the event the show is delayed, interrupted or not held as scheduled. If any reason beyond the control of the Committee the show is not held, the Committee may retain as much of the amount paid by exhibitors as is necessary to defray expenses already incurred. 6. Liability: Neither the Southwest Montana Building Industry Association (SWMBIA), the members, officers, directors, employees, and the HOME EXPO Committee, will be responsible for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur to the exhibitor, or to the exhibitor’s employee or property from any cause whatsoever, prior, during, or following the period covered by the exhibit contract. The exhibitor, on signing the contract and rules and regulations form, expressly releases the above-mentioned Association, individuals, committee, and management from any and all claims for such loss, damage, or injury. 7. Each exhibitor is responsible for any damage he/she or his/her employees may cause to the premises of the MSU Brick Breeden Fieldhouse or SWMBIA or other show suppliers. 8. Amendments: The HOME EXPO Committee shall have full power to interpret and so make or amend these rules. Wherever the rules do not cover, the HOME EXPO Committee reserves the right to make such rulings as may appear to be in the best interest of the Show, and the exhibitor agrees to accept and abide by such rulings. 9. There will be NO hired security provided by SWMBIA, however, doors to the arena will be locked during non-Home Expo hours. It is advised that exhibitors remove any items of value at the end of each day of the Home Expo. Management and the HOME EXPO will not be liable for any loss. 10. Failure to comply with the above stated rules (1-9) may result in suspension from future SWMBIA shows and/or functions.
