Beaver Creek, North America`s #1 family resort.
Family Friendliness Like No Other
Welcome to Beaver Creek, North America’s #1 family resort.
We offer an experience that caters to kids and families on and off
the snow as well as in our village and lodges. Our Children’s Ski
and Snowboard School is recognized as one of the best in the
world. In addition to our friendly dedicated pros, we feature
The Ranch, a state-of-the-art, kids-only learning center complete
with instant video playback for high quality instruction and a healthy
kids menu to support an active lifestyle. The Buckaroo Express
Gondola serves learning-specific terrain that lends itself to creating
lifelong passionate skiers whether you start at age 3 or 53.
When the ski day is done, Beaver Creek features complimentary family programming
every night of the week including activities such as a twilight family snowshoe tour
above the village that ends with hot cocoa and chocolate chip cookies, a glowstick
ski-down followed by fireworks, disco ice skating, rail jams and more. New last season,
the Haymaker Tubing Hill also offers four lanes of sliding fun at The Ranch.
Above all else, guest service at Beaver Creek is arguably the best in the world.
We’ve been recognized by the ski industry for five consecutive years with the Best
Overall Guest Service award. Embracing our “Not exactly roughing it” promise,
from the moment you set foot in the resort let our team of employees and volunteer
Ambassadors help make your visit an experience of a lifetime.
We look forward to seeing you on the slopes.

Our Commitment to the Environment
Much like the living world, social responsibility is inherently essential to Vail Resorts.
Vail Resorts Echo, the Company’s corporate stewardship program, nurtures
social responsibility in our company. Aimed at both protecting the beautiful natural
resources that surround the resorts and helping build stronger communities where
our employees live and work, Vail Resorts Echo encompasses three core efforts –
environmental stewardship, charitable giving and community engagement.
Vail Resorts Echo focuses on:
• Forest restoration and resource conservation
• Providing all kids access to snowsports
• Programs that create healthy kids and communities
Preserving and Protecting. Environmental stewardship for Vail Resorts means
more than responsibility, it means interdependence. Our resorts operate in some
of the world’s greatest natural environments, and we in return are compelled to
care for and preserve them.
Promoting overall forest health is of critical importance to Vail Resorts Echo not only
because forests provide the spectacular natural settings for our five mountain resorts
and neighboring hotels, but they also ensure clean water and abundant wildlife, and help
mitigate climate change. Vail Resorts is working with the U.S. Forest Service on many
forest health projects, including vegetation management plans at each of our resorts
and one of the largest public-private restoration projects in the country to restore critical
watersheds and habitat in the Hayman fire burn area.
Working With VR Echo to Improve our Forests. Vail Resorts Echo and the
National Forest Foundation, the non-profit arm of the U.S. Forest Service, have
partnered to more than $1.7 million for local conservation projects that improve and
enhance the forests in and around our resorts. Thanks to donations that are matched
by the NFF, we’ve helped local non-profits build trails, improve wildlife habitat and
improve the overall health of our forests.
Appetite for Life—Good food on a grand scale. At Vail Resorts, we believe good
food is fuel for a life well lived. Our commitment is to provide our guests with wholesome
high-quality options throughout their dining experience in our mountain dining locations
as well as in our hotels.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Vail Resorts Echo boasts the largest on-mountain
recycling program in the world. Every year, our Company recycles more than
6,000 tons across the resorts and our lodging properties.

Helmet Use Beaver Creek encourages our guests to wear a helmet. While helmets
inherent in the sport, has passed the Colorado Ski Safety Act which provides inherent
risks of the sport and relative responsibilities of the “skier” and the ski area. You must obey
the Act. Under the Act, any person using the facilities of a ski area is considered a skier.
A summary of the inherent risks is listed below:
JAN 27 – 29:
Under Colorado law, a skier assumes the risk of any injury to person or property
resulting from any of the inherent dangers and risks of skiing and may not recover
from any ski area operator for any injury resulting from any of the inherent dangers
and risks of skiing, including: changing weather conditions; existing and changing
snow conditions; bare spots; rocks; stumps; trees; collisions with natural objects,
man-made objects, or other skiers; variations in terrain; and the failure of skiers to
ski within their own abilities.
square, single or double black diamond, or orange oval at Beaver Creek is not necessarily
the same as a similar designation at other resorts. The system is a relative rating of trails
at each resort and does not compare trail or park difficulty between resorts. Skiers and
Riders should begin with the easiest terrain and then move up in difficulty as their ability
permits in order to understand the relative rating at Beaver Creek.
