Geberit Impuls250 dual-flush outlet valve Art. No. 222.241.00.1. for use in thin-wall cisterns (Fig. 3) with the
maximum wall thickness of 10mm. The flush pipe socket on the bottom of the valve will accept a 50mm outside
diameter flush pipe.

Geberit Impuls260 standard dual-flush outlet valve Art. No. 223 003.21.1 for use in close-coupled cisterns (Fig.
1), with lid attachment. Impuls260 incorporates a new flush technology, fits many cisterns (Fig. 3 for
measurements) and is adjustable to 6/3L, 4.5/3L and even smaller flush volumes. The excellent outlet valve
design guarantees high flow velocity of between 2.0 - 2.8 L/s.
Scope of supply
Impuls260 outlet valve including basket seal, outlet valve nut and actuator button bright chrome (Fig. 2).

Description
Geberit Impuls280 dual-flush outlet valve Art. No.272.303.KG.1. for use in close-coupled cisterns (Fig 1). A
separate protruding actuator button is available for smaller cistern lid holes (min. 12mm). The Impuls280 dual-flush
outlet valve can be extended to a maximum of 600mm (Fig. 2), using two extension sets Art. No. 274.600.00.1.
Compatible with Impuls250
The Impuls280 outlet valve can be retrofited easily into the Impuls250 basket. The green ring on the Impuls250
basket needs to be adjusted into upper position and the Impuls280 partial flush will need adjustment in accordance
with the cistern model.

Impuls280 outlet valve including basket seal, outlet valve nut, actuator button chrome/satin, adjustable overflow
pipe and instructions.

Push down the left button and at
the same time lift the right button
up and remove it. Remove the left
button (keep button and plastic rod
together).
Use a screw driver and unscrew
the plastic screw (anti clockwise)
then remove the cistern lid.
(Do not remove lid extension.)
Bottom connection: Close
stop valve (below cistern on wall).
Rear connection: Close stop valve.
(Centre of cistern on wall)
Unhook inlet valve from clip and
rest it in cistern. (Arrow direction).
Unclip flush valve by pressing
both snap-in catches together.
Lift out the flush valve.

Remove old seal replace with
new outlet valve seal,
Art. No. 816.418.00.1.
Put the flush valve back in.
Push the inlet valve back in.
Rear connection: Open stop valve
(centre of cistern on wall).
Line up the flush valve so it is
parallel with the cistern and
click it into place.
Bottom connection: Open stop
valve (below cistern on wall).

Fit the cistern lid. Use a screw driver and screw the plastic screw in (clockwise).
Push the buttons including plastic
rods into the housing.
Warning! Upon maintenance or replacement of valve, backflow prevention must comply with the
requirements of AS/NZS 3500.1. The installer must ensure that the overflow and half-flush settings are
equivalent to original valve settings and comply with AS 1172.2.

requirements of AS/NZS 3500.1. The installer must ensure that the overflow and half-flush settings are
equivalent to original valve settings and comply with AS 1172.2.

Warning! Upon maintenance or replacement of valve, backflow prevention must comply with the
requirements of AS/NZS 3500.1. The installer must ensure that the overflow and half-flush settings are
equivalent to original valve settings and comply with AS 1172.2.

Impuls280 Service
Unscrew push button (anti-clockwise)
and remove cistern lid.
Bottom connection: Close stop valve
(below cistern on wall).
Rear connection: Close stop valve,
(centre of cistern on wall).
Unhook inlet valve from clip and rest
in cistern (Arrow direction).
Unclip the flush valve by pressing
both snap-in catches together.
Lift out the flush valve.
Remove old seal replace with new
outlet seal Art No. 816.418.00.1.
Put the flush valve back in by
pressing both snap-in catches
together.
Push the inlet valve back into clip.
Rear connection: Open stop valve
(centre of cistern on wall).
Bottom connection: Open stop valve
(below cistern on wall).
Fit cistern lid and screw push button
clockwise into housing.
