General Tour Information
 Deposits and Payments
Tour fee is based upon double occupancy at the Hilton Garden Inn Old Town. A deposit of $995 per person is due
by May 31, 2016 or sooner to guarantee a reservation. Final payment of $1,000 is due by July 15, 2016.
 Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations after June 30, 2016 will be subject to a fee of $500 plus any applicable airline cancellation charges unless the
reservation is replaced with someone on a wait list.
 Tour Deviations
Tour travel deviations should be conveyed to TMP staff as soon as possible. Additional fees may be incurred for travel
plan changes. We will attempt to accommodate any changes.








 Included in Tour
Round-trip coach airfare on Alaska Airlines from Seattle to San Diego, based on travel
August 23—28, 2016 (non-stop, direct flights)
All airline taxes and fees as currently levied.
Tickets to four regional-theater shows.
Six nights accommodations at the Hilton Garden Inn Old Town, double occupancy.
Meals: dinner each day, including tax and gratuities at upscale restaurants.
Local motor coach or other transportation in San Diego for:
- arrival and departure transfer between airport and hotel
- all scheduled sightseeing excursion tours, including Tijuana, Mexico.
Admission costs to all scheduled sightseeing tours.
$160 of the tour fee is a tax-deductible contribution to the 2015-16 Annual Fund
at Tacoma Musical Playhouse.
 Not included in Tour
Medical, baggage or cancellation insurance. Gratuities for local tour guides, bus drivers or hotel maids. Meals other than
those scheduled. Shuttle to and from SeaTac airport. Items not specifically mentioned above.

 Special Note
This tour will be limited to not more than 50 patrons. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. We
honor verbal sign-ups to hold a reservation. TMP season subscribers have first priority booking. Tour will open to other
patrons after June 1, 2016. Don’t wait!
 A note from your host…
I am so excited to share this tour with our patrons because San Diego is where I grew up through college. I know the city
very well and have great respect for the regional theaters there. I even worked at Sea World for a time as a young person.
And did you know that San Diego has long been a leader in regional theater, sending more than three dozen plays to
Broadway and Off-Broadway since the 1980s? I believe you will have a wonderful time becoming familiar with this great
city and its theater if you join us!

San Diego guided orientation tour—Beautiful Sea
Port, Gas Lamp Quarter, revitalized Downtown,
Coronado

Dinner: San Diego Bay Dinner Cruise
Day 2 Wed Aug 24
World Famous Balboa Park and the many Museums
and gardens. Museum pass provided.

Show #1: Cabaret—National Touring Production
Day 3 Thur Aug 25
Tour: World Famous San Diego Zoo. Admission
includes bus tour of zoo and air tram.
Dinner: TBD
Show #2: Titanic, the musical—a beautiful show in
an outdoor amphitheater.
Tour orientation meeting at TMP
July 11, 2016 7:00pm
Enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres in the lobby
and mingle with the other travelers.

Day 4 Fri Aug 26
Tour: SeaWorld San Diego and see 5 shows and
numerous exhibits. If you are brave enough, ride
the new Roller coaster—Manta.
Dinner: Old Town Mexican Fiesta

Sat Aug 27
Free Day. Our hotel is only 2 blocks from the
Trolley System that you can ride to numerous sights.
