*Type 1 cutoff wheels must be mounted between properly relieved flanges of equal diameter and matching bearing surfaces. Such flanges must be at least 1/4 of the
wheel diameter. DO NOT MOUNT TYPE 1 WHEELS WITH TYPE 27 FLANGES. Refer to A.N.S.I. Safety Code B7.1 for detailed information on proper mounting and
guarding of Type 1 cutoff wheels. Some angle grinders are not equipped with flanges that permit proper tightening of thin cutoff wheels. To accommodate 4-1/2”, 5”
and 6”, Type 1 & Type 27 thin cutoff wheels, Flexovit offers a reusable FLANGE KIT to adapt to most 4-1/2”, 5” and 6” angle grinders:

Aluminum Series - Specifically designed for aggressive cutting action on aluminum and other nonferrous

The depressed center shape of Razorblade 27 wheels conceal the protruding grinder spindle and locking nut, permitting
flush cutting on flat surfaces. In addition to standard arbor sizes, some Razorblade 27 wheels are also available with a
handy 5/8”-11 spin-on hub.
