Further information can be found online at www.mfcc.de SO 108 04/18/16Mon 7:00pm-9:00pm MFFC News New courses and offers NEW We are very happy to present you new courses every semester. New fitness group courses like Soccacise© and Functional Fitness offer an intensive and holistic (athletic) training. More fitness courses also take place in our gym to diversify and round off your workout routines. In addition to our traditional Soccer Tournament, a newly established Soccer League will take place for the first time. For female basketball and handball players, we offer special courses for her. Yoga enthusiasts can choose between various yoga workshops as well as a weekly course in meditation and Sivananda style. More information on all courses can be found in this program or online. Booking of Courses Without Fees, respectively Single Appointments Crowded courses are often annoying. In order to avoid overcrowding, we introduced a free registration within the sports yoga, Soccacise©, crossXtreme, M.A.X., mountainbike, hiking, parkour, table kicker, and spinning. Your booking is only valid for one appointment and can be repeated weekly on demand. With any booking of fields or courts that are free of charge, you receive a confirmation of registration automatically as well as a link to an online cancellation option. If a field or free place in a course is booked, but not used repeatedly and therefore is blocked for any other participant, the user is blocked for future participation. Cancellation and registration technically can be made until shortly before the course starts. 6 Soccer League NEW The Soccer League will be played in an open league format at the Alfred Delp sports facility and is free of charge for all participants. The games will be 2x 25 minutes with teams of five field players and one goal keeper. Further information to game mode, rules, registration, and dates will be made available online. Instructors are allowed to exclude a participant for technical and health reasons in cases of long delays. Instructors are also allowed to limit the number of participants if a course is overcrowded. 34 Fees The courses are free of charge for all eligible participants unless otherwise noted. In most cases, a formal registration is not necessary unless otherwise noted in the description. Registration Some courses require a registration, this is indicated in the program (if needed, the registration for the SportsCard is necessary, even for courses without a fee, see above). Courses with registration can either be courses with a regulated number of possible participants or courses that require a fee. Fees are indicated in the program. The number of participants is in most cases limited. If too few participants register for a course, the course cannot be held. In this case the fee will be reimbursed. Registered participants are not entitled to further claims. Reimbursements are not possible after a course has already begun. An additional service charge of € 10.00 has to be paid for rebooking or withdrawal from a course, irrespective of the date. Registration Dates Please respect the registration dates of courses. Registrations have to be made online. Payment Payments are collected via direct debit of the bank account during the online registration. If the given bank account is not covered, a handling fee of € 10.00 will be charged. The same handling fee applies to incorrect bank data. If the given bank account is not covered, a handling fee of €10.00 will be charged. The same handling fee applies to incorrect bank data. The SEPA direct debit mandate, which is generated during the first registration, needs to be printed out, signed and sent to the office of the Institute of Sports or submitted in the gym in D2 within 5 days. Otherwise, the booked course is automatically cancelled and free vacancies are given to participants on the waiting list. We cannot accept scanned or faxed mandates. Insurance Students of Mannheim’s universities are insured within the framework of university sports as well as during lectures. Insurance does not cover sporting activities outside the organized courses and events of the Institute of Sports (for example independent groups, independent exercise, independent tennis matches, individual training in the gym in D2). Participants have to take care of their insurance themselves when they take part in courses where the Institute of Sports acts only as intermediary for affiliated organizers. Employees of the University of Mannheim, participants affiliated with ABSOLVENTUM, FdH, ZEW, Universität Mannheim Service und Marketing GmbH and Popakademie Mannheim are categorically not insured during university sports and therefore responsible themselves for insurance coverage. 35 Institut für Sport Website:www.uni-mannheim.de/sport E-mail:[email protected] Phone: 0621 / 181 - 34 19 Fax: 0621 / 181 - 34 15 Service Center University Sports: Office Hours: Gym in D2 D 2, 5 - 8; 2. floor 68159 Mannheim Mon - Fri 6:00pm-10:30pm Office University Sports: Office Hours: Phone: University of Mannheim Institute of Sports Bismarckstraße 42 Schloss, Ostflügel, Schneckenhof Ost 1. floor, rooms SO 102 - SO 105 68161 Mannheim Mon - Fri 9:00am-12:30pm 0621 / 181 - 34 19 Head of Department: Christian Burgahn Office Hours: by arrangement Phone: 0621 / 181 - 34 14 E-mail:[email protected] Deputy: Charlotte Werner-Ulbricht Office Hours: by arrangement Phone: 0621 / 181 – 34 20 E-mail:[email protected] Secretariat: Elvira Hanusch Phone: 0621 / 181 - 34 16 E-mail:[email protected] Projectsite Fanclub des Hochschulsports e.V.
