Respect for other campers and their belongings, as well as respect for the staff, is a requisite of attending Hi-Five Camp. Also, please respect the facilities at the Ice Den and the camp equipment. Trash talking and arguing with officials are not permitted at camp! These rules and policies are simple to follow and will help ensure a GREAT summer at Hi-Five. Remember, winning is NOT everything. Self-improvement, having fun, and making friends are the priorities at camp. CONSISTENT VIOLATION OF THESE RULES OF CONDUCT WILL RESULT IN PARENTS BEING NOTIFIED TO DISCUSS THE SITUATION AND EXCLUSION FROM CAMP ACTIVITIES MAY RESULT. SAFETY AT CAMP Despite our camp being held indoors, dehydration can still become an issue. We have multiple drinking fountains and several water jugs present near each camp venue. Campers will be encouraged to drink a lot of water throughout the day. This year, all of our events will be held indoors. No need for sunscreen. Campers taking medications at camp require a signed medical authorization form. Please send the medication with your child the first day of camp. Our admin staff will keep it for the summer and administer it per your authorization. Please CLEARLY label all medication. Inhalers should be kept with the camper so that they can have it near them during practice and games. FREE SKATE Open ice skate is available every day all summer between Noon to 2:00 and it is included with camp. Campers prep for skating after lunch. Rentals and skate trainer device included. Helmets are recommended (not provided). LESSONS NOT INCLUDED, so please get inexperienced skaters out on the ice prior to attending camp. SMALL GROUP SKATING LESSONS If you desire, you can contract Ice Den coaches to teach your child how to skate during Hi-Five Camp. These lessons (affordable compared to privates, but still at an added cost) can be arranged directly through the Ice Den. Details of the program are pending and will be announced via email. We’ll be sure to introduce your child to their coach. CATERED HOT LUNCH PROGRAM Our catered lunch is included in the camp fees.
