Volunteer Opportunities The 23rd Annual Trolley Run is April 17, 2011. Voted the #1 run in Kansas City, the Sabates Eye Centers Trolley Run is the major fund-raiser for the Children’s Center for the Visually Impaired (CCVI). With over 10,500 runners we are always looking for volunteers! Donate your time and talent to help CCVI, the only school in the metropolitan area offering specialized instruction for blind and visually impaired children from birth to age six. All volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt. Sign up online at www.trolleyrun.org or mail in the enclosed postcard. Sign up for one shift or two, bring a friend and join the fun! Pre-Race Preparation April 9, 11, 12& 13 Location: More information coming soon! Fold corporate shirts, label bib numbers, chips and assemble in runner/walker bags. Packet Pick-Up April 14, 15 & 16 Location: More information coming soon! Must be 14 years or older. Must be 14 years or older. Distribute bib numbers, chips, runner/walker t-shirts and instructions Race Day April 17 Must be 18 years or older. Course Monitors 6:30-11:00 a.m. 6:30 a.m. check-in Assist the police in keeping intersections closed to traffic crossing the Trolley Run Route. Start Line – 75th & Wornall, 5:45-9:30 a.m. 5:45 a.m. check-in Must be 16 years or older. Water Station Packet pick-up Registration Wave monitor After-Bash Party – On the Plaza, 6:00-11:00 a.m. 6:00 a.m. check-in Must be 16 years or older.
