oral health. Our financial policy is
intended to facilitate excellent service
while minimizing administrative costs.
All charges incurred are our clients’
responsibility, regardless of insurance
coverage. We must emphasize that our
relationship is with our clients, not
with insurance companies.
As a courtesy, we will help process
insurance claims when a completed
dental insurance form or proof of
insurance is presented for each
appointment. All claims not paid within
60 days are the client’s responsibility.
If you have questions regarding our
financial policy, please ask. We are

What makes
you smile?
James WW McCreight, D.D.S.
Wendy M McCreight, D.D.S.
Dr. Jim was born and raised in
Davenport, Iowa. He received his
BA from Luther College obtaining
a major in Biology in 1991. After
his undergraduate education, Dr.
Jim went on to receive his dental
degree (DDS) from the University
of Iowa College of Dentistry in
1995. As a graduating senior,
Dr. Jim was selected by the
dental faculty to present the
commencement address for the
graduating dental and hygiene
classes that same year.
Dr. Jim continued his dental education by completing an
advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) through the
Naval Dental Center of San Diego, CA. He was a commissioned
officer in the Navy (Lieutenant) during this training period. Dr.
Jim then worked at several dental clinics in San Diego and Yuma,
AZ helping both active duty Navy and Marine personnel.
Dr. Jim and his wife and partner, Dr. Wendy McCreight
founded McCreight Progressive Dentistry in 1998. Drs Jim
and Wendy also founded the McCreight Smile Foundation in
December 2006 which is a dental fund that directly supports
victims of domestic violence of Northwest Colorado.
Dr. Jim is also a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute for
Advanced Dental Studies (LVI), studying both cosmetic and
neuromuscular dentistry. Dr Jim was also selected as one of
seventy-eight clinical instructors in the world to teach at
LVI. Currently Dr Jim instructs the Advanced Anterior and
Comprehensive Aesthetic Reconstruction Programs teaching
dentists from around the world state of the art cosmetic and
neuromuscular dentistry.
Dr. Jim maintains active memberships in the American Dental
Association, the International Association of Comprehensive
Aesthetics, the Colorado Dental Association, the Western
Slope Dental Association and Rotary International (Paul Harris
Fellow).
Dr. Jim enjoys the outdoors of Northwest Colorado with
his wife and two kids, Hannah Alexis McCreight and Jackson
James McCreight. Drs Jim and Wendy live in Steamboat
Springs, Colo. – also known as “Ski Town USA.”
Dr. Wendy was born and raised
in Littleton, CO. She received
her BS in Nursing from the
University of Northern Colorado
in 1988. She worked 5 years as a
registered nurse in Oral surgery
and Cardiology. Her nursing
career allowed her to work in
both Iowa and Texas. She made
her career change in 1997 when
she received her dental degree
(DDS) from the University of
Iowa College of Dentistry.
After her 1997 graduation she
joined her husband Jim in Yuma, Arizona where she was an
Associate in general dentistry for one year until the founding
of McCreight Progressive Dentistry in June 1998.
Dr. Wendy has continued her post graduate training
attending the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies
(LVI), studying cosmetic and neuromuscular dentistry. She
maintains active memberships in the American Dental
Association, Colorado Dental Association, Western Slope
Dental Association and the International Association of
Comprehensive Aesthetics.
Dr. Wendy enjoys the beautiful outdoors of her Colorado
home and spending every free moment with her husband and
2 children, Hannah and Jackson.
