2015 collection from Gloster.

palette of ten new fabrics to create your own unique

CRAFTS
AND INNOVATION
Run by a multinational team and employing over 800 people, the Gloster
facility in Indonesia is both responsible, efficient and responsive. From the
drafting team to calculation specialists. From artisanal weavers to
carpenters, our team have been part of the Gloster family for many years.
All the teak we purchase comes from legally managed plantations and we
take great care that our manufacturing activities follow sound
environmental practices for the good of both our own people and the
local communities.
And although our expertise started with teak, it hasn’t stopped there.
More than 10 million pieces of furniture later and Gloster is now expert in
a variety of materials, including aluminium, stainless steel and upholstery.

Who needs it? With a series of uniquely styled products Gloster offers the
opportunity to mix and match.
An extensive introduction of mix and match product supports this style
concept. Outdoor dining chair, table and seating designs are available in
any combination of four sophisticated fabrics, two powder coat finishes
and come with optional burnished teak accents…
Why be ordinary?
BUFFED TEAK
Gloster buffed teak benefits from an
enhanced surface preparation procedure,
where the natural oils already contained
within the teak are brought to the surface
and burnished to produce a rich sheen
and a consistent colour.
All Gloster teak items also now come with
a 10 year warranty.

Grid is a name that describes both function and mind-set.
A grid of complementary units forms the basis of a totally flexible system
where customers are able to combine various individual elements to meet
their specific needs. The shapes of the various elements enable the finished
seating unit to be constructed in multiple ways and even directions.

Luxurious for one, but big enough for two. This, combined with the natural
backrest and the option for adjustable sun shading, makes for a truly
comfortable experience.

The inspiration is almost too obvious - two bells joined together to make up

In outdoor situations we often spend more time relaxing and lounging, and
when dining we often take our time. So why not make the situation as
comfortable as possible, with a sling seat construction that is flexible enough
to provide a soft landing - a bit like swaying grass. Sway comes as both a
cantilever version or with a teak frame.

Traditional and modern materials combine in the Dansk collection to create
imposing yet welcoming forms. Light, tactile and pleasant to the eye, Dansk
strikes a familiar chord with its clean, tapering lines that hark back to a
classic Danish furniture design for all seasons.

Distinctive interwoven straps give the Maze collection its name which takes
conventional woven furniture to a new dimension. Working with soft,
polypropylene outdoor straps woven over angular teak frames, the unique
design offers both visual impact and exceptional comfort. The rope version
utilises UV stabilised, PVC coated polyester rope on the seat and back.

The idea behind the design was the mix of materials and the shapes. The
stainless steel frame has all the refinement of an indoor, anodised surface
but with the practicality and soft touch of a powder coated surface. This,
combined with the gently curved backrest, gives the chair a striking yet very
welcoming look.

Like the desert sand define the dunes, so the soft curve in the backrest
defines this chair. Even though the materials are weatherproof and durable,
the inspiration and the task was to make the chair both comfortable and
welcoming.
PRODUCT
The legs of the Split table have a very characteristic look with an inverted ‘Y’
construction and tapering form, which emphasises a light and subtle
connection to the ground. The uneven cutting of the table top adds an
organic look, while tricking the eye with a visual surprise.
