REVIEWS
...there’s no mistaking the sparks, Robert crunches and fragments
harmony when soloing in fast tunes, Michael has an innate understanding of how to
play the flugelhorn on slow songs while keeping them tense. - Ben Ratliff, The New York
Times
Conversations speaks to the unlimited possibilities of the fusion between jazz and Latin
music. The Rodriguez brothers are daring risk takers who have the ability to push improvised music forward with vigorous optimism.
- John Barron, All About Jazz
In a battle of young jazz band, the Rodriguez Brothers just might dust
the competition.

jazz today, and on their uplifting gem Conversations, they play jazz like jazz musicians
should.
