Alzheimer’s Research Update with Dr. Laura Baker Thursday, May 12 at 4:00 pm Dr. Laura Baker will discuss research being performed at the Gerontology/Alzheimer’s Research Facility at WFBMC. The research is working to improve the diagnosis and care for people with the disease while focusing on the program’s ultimate goal–finding a cure! Join us in Fellowship Hall for these remarkable upcoming programs! National Library Week, April 10–16, is an excellent time to visit Arbor Acres' libraries. Notice some improvements inspired by responses to a recent resident survey: better space for readers, new signage and arrangement, and new books. The libraries are staffed mostly by volunteers, who process new books, check in and shelve, and keep things orderly. Although there is no time limit on check-outs, readers are encouraged to return books soon so that others may enjoy them, and to please use the proper procedure for checking books in and out. Check your shelves for unreturned library books! Donations of new books in good condition are welcomed, as are paperback exchanges and current magazines. Thank you for helping to keep our libraries running well and up-to-date! RSVP Events-At-A-Glance These upcoming events require registration, a ticket purchase and/or transportation reservation.
