1Hydraulic excavators
Performance
Liebherr wheeled excavators have the performance to get
building work done faster. High lift capacity combined with
a short tail swing radius, deliver extraordinary productivity
and flexibility in application.
Economy
The hydraulic excavators sets the standard in its class for
fuel efficiency and travel performance. The newly developed
Liebherr diesel engine meets the requirements of exhaust
stage IIIB, even without the use of a particle filter.
Reliability
A fast response when service is required minimizes
downtime and ensures that schedules can be met. This is
made possible by a spare part availability rate in excess of
98 % and a 24 h delivery service for spare parts.
Maintainability
The large, wide-open service door provides an optimal
service access. All the daily maintenance points can be
accessed conveniently and safely from ground level. Short
service times for greater productivity.
Comfort
The modern Liebherr operator’s cab is the largest in this
machine class, and offers the best conditions preconditions for
healthy, concentrated and productive working. The features
which make this possible include the standard feature of an
air-sprung operator seat with seat heating, the automatic
air conditioning and the ergonomically arranged control
elements with touchscreen indicating unit.

especially suited for operation with grade control systems
such as laser control or GPS. Since the systems of all
conventional manufacturers can be used similarly, flexibility

landscape construction. Telescopic handlers with their
universal attachment options and high lifting heights are
therefore ideal for this application. A large selection of
attachment tools and quick conversion ensure that the
widest range of different work tasks can be accomplished
with a single machine.
Perfect operation and maximum safety
All movements can exactly be controlled by the multifunction joystick. For greater safety the selection of the travel
direction is integrated in the joystick so the driver can always
keep one hand on the steering wheel. Together with the automatic parking brake Liebherr telescopic handlers feature
maximum safety.

The continuous regulation and sensitive control
characteristics of the hydrostatic travel drive allow precise
manoeuvring and smooth driving without gearshifts across
the entire speed range. The tried and tested interaction
of travel drive, working hydraulics and diesel engine

hydrostatic drive system acts as a wear free service brake.
Maintenance work can be reduced to a minimum.
