The name Hi-R stands for:
• High Resolution
• High Red Reflex
• High Reaction
The MÖLLER Hi-R 900 will go
with your demands. Via a beam
splitter, the basic model can be
equipped with camera adapters
and a stereoscopic observer
tube. Important for vitreoretinal
surgery is the non-contact wide
angle ophthalmoscope EIBOS
which is rotatable around the
front lens. For the operation,
EIBOS, covered with a sterile
drape, is flipped down. The focus mechanism and the inverter are integrated.
Through the EIBOS, the slit illumination
can be applied very suitably in the starting
phase of a vitrectomy to improve the vision in the vitreoretinal space.
The exceptionally large stereo base provides maximal
depth perception; and the clear zoom illumination with
filters delivers bright but safe light.
The MÖLLER Hi-R 900 contains a slit illumination with
two horizontal slits (2 and 3 mm wide) which can be selected and moved during surgery via a sterile knob.
An important accessory for facing surgeons is the light
router LR 1000
1000. Besides the two eyepieces, the light
router contains one or two adapters for C-mount cameras and two switchable connections for another observer
or a still camera.
The MÖLLER Hi-R 900SL is similar to the operating
microscope MÖLLER Hi-R 900, but contains an operating slit lamp instead of the illumination module. The slit
lamp, mounted to the back of the microscope, allows
conventional as well as slit illumination. The version
MÖLLER Hi-R 900SLA (see photo) additionally contains
a 0° assistant scope.
MÖLLER Hi-R 900A
The illumination angle can be switched
from coaxial (6°) to
oblique (35°). The
slit width is continuously variable from 0 to
20 mm (oblique illumination: 0 to 29 mm) and the
length of the slit in 3 steps
of 4, 6, and 20 mm (oblique
illumination: 8, 13, 42 mm). In
addition, the slit can be rotated
by 360°. The same filters (yellow
475 nm, orange 515 nm, blue) as in
the MÖLLER Hi-R 900 are used in the
slit lamp.
MÖLLER Hi-R 900SLA
All MÖLLER Hi-R 900 versions are well suited for advanced future applications. With microelectronics in
microscope and stand, today‘s and future communication systems can be connected. Möller offers several
adapters for video and still cameras as well as digital
cameras. The video camera MVS Plus with image enhancement is especially recommended for monitoring
and recording during surgery.
The MÖLLER Hi-R 900A (with 0°assistant scope) offers the assistant and the surgeon the same 0° viewing,
stereoscopic vision, and red reflex. The assistant scope
easily swivels laterally and, for relaxed working, you may
turn and incline its eyepiece into a comfortable position. Of course, the assistant scope has its own magnification changer (5 step) and focusing device allowing
both surgeons to independently select the focal plane.
MÖLLER MIOS
(Microscope Image and Operation System)
MÖLLER MIOS allows comfortable DVD recording and
editing of video streams and snapshots as well as a
DICOM connection to the hospital network.
For less demands or restricted space, the floor stand
FS 2012 with manual controls and small footprint is recommended. Also ceiling and wall units are available
with the same technology.

For the surgeon
The special MicroFriction technology provides extremely
light movement and free-floating of the microscope. The
very long arm reach and the optimized damping of vibrations make work for the surgeon easier.
For the OR nurse
With the EasyAdapt system, equipment can be attached
to the floor stand on easily mountable trays. The cables
are protected in a readily accessible duct. Only one external power cord is required. The floor stand carriage
and the pushbar are designed for optimal maneuverability. Balancing via EasyBalance system, operation via
touch screen, and easy exchange of halogen lamps are
special features facilitating the hard work of the OR personnel.
