he Santa Margarita
High baseball program welcomed the
Angels and the Pirates of the Rancho
Santa
Margarita
Little
League Challenger Division
for the first Life Without Limits exhibition baseball game
April 4 at Santa Margarita
Catholic High School.
The event began with a
warm-up on the field, with
each varsity player paired up
with a Challenger Division
player. Members of the Eagles’ junior varsity, freshmen
and frosh-soph teams cheered
from the stands.
The exciting, hard-fought
and mostly-fun two-inning
game ended in a tie. There
was a post-game gathering
celebrating sportsmanship
and the common love of baseball.
